W.A.S.P. wrapped up their first US tour in 10 years with a sold out show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and frontman Blackie Lawless shared his thoughts on the trek as the band prepares to head across the pond to launch their European Tour on St. Patrick's Day.

Lawless shared, "There have been a number of times in my life when I was caught between agony and ecstasy. Many times while either making a record that had great meaning for me or a tour that was truly memorable. But the U.S. Tour that we just finished has been a joy I've not felt since the first tour we did in 84'-85'. When that first tour was over I felt like a little kid that had his brand new toy taken away from him. When I got up on Elvis at the end of the last show finale, I stayed up on him longer than I normally do. I held that pose for what seemed like forever and in my mind it was a blur and I was flashing in my head all the shows we had just done and how desperately I wished this tour would just keep going and going. I've never wanted something not to end so badly before...even more than the first World Tour in 84'-85'. (continue)

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have shared some behind the scenes comments and a special video about the making of their "Face Down" music video.

Ronnie Winter (Lead Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Producer) explains "Over the years we've gotten a lot of requests for this song, not just to play it, but to re-record it. So we finally recorded not only a new symphonic edition of 'Face Down', but the whole album. With this video we specifically chose to focus on the line "a new life she has found," which is also my family's experience. We definitely did not get to show that in the first video. Everything has been about that. From the casting, to the crew, to the locations, to the treatment, to the story. From the beginning we really just wanted to show how awesome things can get if you have the courage to make decisions that can be extremely painful and tough. That's what this has been about since the beginning. Not only have things worked out for the character in the video, but now she's actually learned how to help other people get through the same situation that she has, which is very important to someone like me who's in recovery because that's what we do. So, it's about healing and how it's hard and messy, but it happens and it's worth working towards. (continue)

Rock legends Uriah Heep just released a new single and video, "Hurricane", from their forthcoming album, "Chaos & Colour" (due January 27th), and to celebrate we asked Russell Gilbrook to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

Hurricane is a song that the listener can interpret as they choose, however, it was written from the point of view of our ancestors and the bewilderment and amazement of a storm or hurricane, and not understanding where, why or how it comes about, but believing they may be messages from their god/s. This is reflected in the dynamic and descriptive lyrics. (continue)
