Rumors surfaced earlier this year that the band was working at a Vancouver studio after Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, Angus and Stevie Young were spotted at the facility, fueling speculation that they were working on a new album.
While it appears that Slade's return to the band may be over, he was asked his thoughts about the rumors about the previous lineup getting back together by eonMusic.
He said, "Yes. If it works, good luck. It's great. And why not? There's all sorts of rumors: Axl's going to be doing a track, Brian's going to be doing a track, there's so many variables here. And I've learned with AC/DC also, not to believe the rumors, because even fans fake things.
"But Angus is now over 60, I think, so he's still got a few years to go, if you go by me and Brian. That's all he does - he relaxes by painting, and he smokes fags, and that's about it, so the rest of the time, he's playing guitar."
Bass player Cliff Williams made it well known that he was retiring following the band's Rock Or Bust Tour and Slade was asked who he thought may be taking over for him. He responded, "I'm not sure about that. But Stevie Young and Angus both play bass. Would Cliff come out of retirement? It depends on if he's bored or not, because all he will want to do these days is go fishing with his son, who is a professional fisherman.
"So, I don't know. It's possible, of course, but there again, it's all rumours. But Angus is very big, family-orientated, a la Stevie, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a nephew or a cousin or something who plays bass So, that's just a thought."

With a production budget of $52 million, the project's worldwide tally currently sits at $141.7 million after only a few days in theaters. As Billboard notes, "Bohemian Rhapsody" has delivered the second biggest start of all time for a music biopic behind 2015's "Straight Outta Compton", which earned $60.2 million, even when adjusted for inflation.
"Bohemain Rhapsody" follows Queen from their creation in 1970 to the band's legendary 1985 performance at Live Aid. "Much more than a documentary of someone's life, it's a piece of pure art, chiselled out of solid rock," says guitarist Brian May. "It speaks of families and relationships and hopes and dreams, and heartache and disappointment, and ultimately of victory and fulfilment, in a way that everyone can connect to. It hasn't been an easy journey - but all the most worthwhile journeys are like that! Rami and Lucy and the boys give monumental performances - more than worthy of the originals!!" Read more

Our newest single Stuck On Repeat is one of three songs we've released this year. The song tells a story about a man who is constantly making the same mistakes that keeps hurting the people he loves. On the other side, the loved one gets to a breaking point where they can't stay anymore. They're done being stuck in something that never changes.
We shot the music video with our good friend Jacob Reynolds. It was a really fun and interesting story we tried to do. The character I play is actually the person who is "Stuck On Repeat" in one day. I keep making the same mistakes and that repeatedly sends me back to the start. Throughout the video I start learning from all the mistakes until I realize what's most important and run straight to where I've been trying to get the whole time.
The song was produced by Matt Good at Good Sounds Studio. It was our first time working with Matt, and it was a great experience. He was super cool and open to everything we wanted to try. As well as putting in his own ideas that helped shape the track. We knocked it out in one day and are very pleased with what we've come up with.
All three new singles are available on all streaming and music platforms. And the video you can find on our Facebook or YouTube. Check them out and let us know what you think!

This Previously Unreleased Studio Album was recorded in 2006 but had not seen a release until now. David Cross said of the release "I met Andrew some years ago when the David Cross Band were touring with Pete Banks's Harmony and Diversity. Andrew was the drummer with that band and we got together after the tour to record some tracks.
"This eventually turned into the album we're releasing. Andrew brought a great deal of creativity and high level production skills to the project and is one of those people who make it easy to play - a wonderful talent!" It is available

She had this to say about the track, "Zo Lief is about hanging on and letting go. I always thought that I would be a pretty relaxed mom, but dealing with transitions turns out to be more challenging than expected.
"Every time my son Finn enthusiastically welcomes a new stage of his independence, I have to admit that letting go of parental attachment isn't that easy. An English translation of the song title is 'So Sweet' and this is the very first time I've release a song in my native language as a solo artist.
"I wrote and demoed Zo Lief a couple of years ago and Gijs Kramers made a subtle arrangement for orchestra. The video was shot at the Dutch North Sea coast by director Mark Uyl." Watch the video

It's not a great story... A friend of mine was murdered. Someone who had her whole life ahead of her, and was one of the coolest people I'd ever known. When I returned to work, a co-worker was being overly dramatic about really ridiculous stuff and threatened to kill herself. It really burned me up and depressed me all over again. My friend who loved life had hers taken away in such a brutal way, so when the co-worker walked by me an hour later, I said to her... "Oh, you're still here? I thought you said that you were gonna kill yourself." I didn't really think about it - it just came out, and maybe I shouldn't have said it, but I was still so raw from losing a friend. Then I played the skeleton of the song to my pal Ben Vaughn. He finished it up and made it so much better.
I first recorded the song with my old band - The Friggs - and we released it on our first album - Rock Candy. The guys in my band The Doppel Gang dug it and wanted to play it so we learned it, and it's become a favorite of theirs to play at gigs. When it came time to make the new album, they wanted to record it, so we did. It's a really different sound compared to the Friggs version, so it really worked out!
