We were sent the following details about the debut book from the imprint: "'27: The Legend And Mythology Of The 27 Club', the inaugural release of the new series, is Simmons' witty, insightful, and no-BS take on the myth, and the actual people, that make up the '27 club'-the ground-breaking musicians, artists, and celebrities who died at the age of twenty-seven, frozen in the collective consciousness at the zenith of their creative output.
"The book is from the perspective of a fellow musician as Simmons, for the first time, tries to dig deep and understand the deeply human and compelling stories about many of his heroes-from Blues icon Robert Johnson to Rolling Stones co-founder Brian Jones, from grunge superstar Kurt Cobain to rebel chanteuse Amy Winehouse. Simmons takes us into the worlds of these larger-than-life personalities and tries to find truth beneath the myths of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll." Preorder the book

"This was by far the best experience we've had at sea with the fans who have helped us - for the last 13 years - build up an international, multi-cultural, community full of music lovers," says Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams. "Paramore is a band, yeah, but it's not just a band. We want it to be about people and community and connection, and that goes far beyond the three of us. Parahoy! helps make that into a real, tangible thing." Read more

The tune was the second track issued from the band's tenth album, "HardwiredTo Self-Destruct", which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to sales of more than a million copies in the country.
Currently playing arena dates across Europe, Metallica will bring their 2018 indoor show to North America this fall. "Following last summer's sold-out 25-date stadium run," says the band, "this year we're bringing the in-the-round production currently being seen in European arenas to the U.S. and Canada kicking off on September 2, 2018 in Madison, WI. Along the way we'll be visiting 34 cities we did not go to last year, including a few we haven't been to in decades, including Grand Forks, ND (nearly 30 years), Sioux Falls, SD, El Paso, TX, Birmingham, AL (nearly 26 years) and State College, PA (20 years). About time, wouldn't you say?!" Watch the video

Frontman Matt Caughthran had this to say about the clip, "The idea is loosely based on an old video game called 'Night Trap' where aliens invade a sexy slumber party and you have this cool, room-to-room, live-action scenario in which you try to save the day.
"The song is about dealing with the side effects of life as a musician/artist; all the things you never saw coming. After finishing a recent UK tour, we flew into Philly to rehearse and shoot the video in two days, and the excitement and inspiration, mixed with delirium and exhaustion, onlyseemed to add to the authenticity of the song's lyrical content. This video is truly a labor of love, just like music/art/life should be." Watch it

The lead single from the band's sixth album, "Inside Information", reached No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while the project peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.

Leclercq had this to say, "It's radical, it's violent, it's angry - angrier. The new album is a continuation of Ashes. In terms of sound and style, we've added more influences to the mix. This album is 100% us - not aimed to please the masses, not following formulas, and not made to fit radio criteria. From the artwork (made by Travis Smith), to the lyrics, to the music itself, there isn't an ounce of commercial compromise."
Joey Jordison also says, "In a way Repulsion almost feels like this is our first album, because I had the opportunity to record my drum tracks in France with the band present this time. Them giving me ideas, and being able to construct the tracks together as a band, made for a killer foundation for the rest to build upon. This album is lethal, and the songwriting has evolved immensely."
Frontman Sean Zatorsky adds, "This is by far the heaviest, brutal, most amazing album I've ever been a part of. The riffs are so f***ing sick that they inspired me to vocally do things I have never been able to do but always wanted to - literally. I held nothing back because the music held nothing back."

"We are enormously sad that Steve has decided to leave the band but we understand and fully support his reasons. Steve has been with us for seven or so years and we are going to miss his humour, mad ideas and of course his help developing our unique sound" - Martin Wilson, Vocals

Karnig Manoukian shared this about the track, "It's not unusual for a song like this to write itself. A song that illuminates the painful sides of love that are easy to overlook, especially when something beautiful is looking you in the eyes.
"This song captures what it's like to be on the dangerous side of the gun we call love. Like A Drug is about every failed escape that brings you that much closer to the thing you know you should be running from. I think most people can relate to the feelings of a toxic relationship in some way or another. That's what makes the theme of this song so universal.
"'Like A Drug' captures two things that humanity knows all too well: pain and love. In the pain of love lies the rites of passage that bring us all together." Watch the video
