The legendary band recruited Rose to take over lead vocals for their world tour after doctors warned longtime frontman Brian Johnson that he risked permanent hearing loss if he continued the tour.
The unusual pairing was met with acclaim from both fans and critics, but at issue was a complained filed by FACUA-Consumers in Action on behalf of ticket buyers that wished to receive a refund because of the lineup change and a deadline that was reportedly imposed.
Live Nation, the promoter of the band's May 10th, 2016 concert at the Estadio Olimpico de Sevilla in Seville, Spain, has been fined by The General Directorate of Economy and Commerce of the City of Seville, according to the organization's website Facua.org.
They report that the fine was imposed for an alleged violation of a provision of the Regulations for Admission to Shows and Recreational Activities in Andalusia that says, "spectators and assistants are entitled to the refund of the amounts paid by the entrance or locality and, where appropriate, the proportional part of the payment, when the public spectacle or recreational activity is suspended, Postponed or substantially amended." Read the translated report for more details on the claims made that caused the fine to be imposed

Mustaine made news with his interview with the radio station WRIF when he said, "Believe it or not, we've got some cool things going on for the States. We've got two really great things we're gonna be doing. We'll be heading out some part of the spring or summer and then we just were told about an opportunity at the end of the year that really, really excited me."
He then added, "It's somebody I've never played with before that we're actually gonna be supporting. They were so cool that we would step down from being a headliner to support this group."

McCartney had the following to say via his official website, "Chuck Berry sadly passed away over the weekend. He was one of rock 'n' roll's greatest poets. He will be missed but remembered by everyone who ever loved rock 'n' roll,.
"From the first minute we heard the great guitar intro to 'Sweet Little Sixteen' we became fans of the great Chuck Berry. His stories were more like poems than lyrics - the likes of 'Johnny B Goode' or 'Maybellene'. To us he was a magician making music that was exotic yet normal at the same time. We learnt so many things from him which led us into a dream world of rock 'n' roll music."Read more

"This is something I've always wanted to do: Take an evening, invite an audience and just be me," Walsh said in a statement. "What you can expect is me playing music, answering almost all questions anyone would ask (except the ones that may incriminate me), a big screen power point presentation put together and narrated by me, guitar shop talk, slide guitar 101, true stories of road craziness and a discussion of how to destroy hotel rooms and of course playing more music."
Walsh added that the setting will inform what he shares. "I'm particularly excited to talk about my Elvis experiences--what he meant to me and what I meant to him," he said. "We'll conclude with a Town Hall Meeting, including a strategy and platform discussion for my candidacy to run for President of the United States in 2020 and sing 'God Bless America' or something else (Elvis would want that)." As frontman Adam Lazzara told Radio.com in November, the band faced a fork in the road after seventeen years. Do they give fans the expected, or do they follow their hearts and produce an album that speaks about who they are as a band today?
"We can go one way and that way would be the easy way and just write what people expect from us or we can write something that's very true to the people that we are right now not only in our lives but the music we're listening to. And that's the road we took and thankfully it's been going really well cause the whole thing could have blown up in our face." See the dates

The new clip was directed by Matt Zane (Wayne Static, John 5, Orgy) and is one of the tracks from Dopesick's forthcoming EP "The Love and Terror Cult", which is set to be released on April 28th.
Machado had this to say, "I had a great time making the video for Release Me. Somehow, we wound up on a Hollywood rooftop with Matt Zane, and insanity followed shortly after. The backdrop was the beautiful California night sky and a dimly lit Los Angeles skyline.
"I will say that musical instruments were definitely hurt during the making of this video and human beings are definitely to blame. I've never seen a Gibson Les Paul thrown off a rooftop, surely it instigated the destruction of several microphone stands on my part. Check out the video and keep an eye out for the flying Les Paul that nearly decapitated me. All for the love of rock!" Watch the video
