McCready guested on Frehley's performance of the KISS classic 'Cold Gin', repeating his guest appearance on Frehley's latest album, the covers set Origins Vol.1. Of course, for McCready performing live with Frehley was something he owed his much younger self.
In a 2014 Rolling Stone interview, McCready said, "Ace Frehley came onstage and did it with us at Madison Square Garden a few years ago, which was a total high watermark in my life. When I was 13, I never thought in a million years that I would even talk to him; I'd probably pass out. And here I am playing with him!" This wasn't the only snafu during this year's awards show. Adele had to start her tribute to George Michael over because of equipment problems and someone forgot to turn Metallica frontman James Hetfield's microphone on when they took the stage with Lady Gaga for a live performance. The clip features footage of the group performing the live debut of the tune last spring during a pair of reunion shows at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The concerts marked the first time in years that Sammy Hagar, guitarist Joe Satriani, bassist Michael Anthony and drummer Chad Smith had regrouped to perform a full show; the outfit last toured in 2012 in support of their second album, "Chickenfoot III."
The two-disc "Best + Live" presents tracks from the group's two studio albums alongside audio from a 2009 concert in Phoenix, AZ originally only available as video on the 2010 DVD/Blu-ray "Get Your Buzz On."
"Listening to this collection of songs from the 'Foot brings back memories of some of the most fun I've ever had in a band," says Hagar. "The chemistry between Chad, Joe, Mike and me is very special. It's almost like visual music -- you can see us having fun when you listen to these songs." Watch the video

"No one is in critical condition but the band and crew are still being assessed for the extent of their injuries at Szpital Wojewodzki im. Jana Pawla II (John Paul Regional Hospital) in Zamosc.

Adams (Ryan, that is) has been asked about the incident numerous times in interviews, but has now written a piece for the New York Times explaining it from his perspective. An excerpt reads:
"I finally had enough and piped up: 'Who is it? Who is shouting? Tell me who it is!' I asked the person to raise his hand so I could see him. He did not. Finally people pointed furiously to a seat not far from me in the front. I walked down the few wooden steps in front of the stage to the aisle where all the fingers pointed.
"By the time I got there, I was so angry. I felt humiliated, but what else could be done? Either way I had lost something. Unlike a more seasoned comic or musician, I didn't have the experience to ignore a situation like this, or to use wit to turn it around. I felt a kind of disappointment and disillusionment that I had never known - and it was in front of a thousand-plus people.
"As I approached the heckler's wooden pew, I was shocked. He was only a few years older than me. Unshaven, bleary-eyed. He had on a baseball hat and seemed so drunk that his limbs hung from his sides like a broken doll. His eyes were like two poached eggs waiting to break. The anger left me, and I instantly felt bad. No one was there for this man. No one stopped him.
"I said, 'Hey man, if you were trying to ruin the show you succeeded, but I need to try and finish this - it's my job.' I pulled out two $20 bills and said: 'Here is your money, please take a taxi and leave here. Go home and take an aspirin. Please. Leave.'
"I walked back to the stage. People applauded. The fourth wall was destroyed in the worst possible way. But this moment, where I decided to do what the security and the people around him would not, felt genuine. It is what I would have done if I were in the audience."
It's all very dramatic, but that's how Adams is. He's since made his peace with the song itself, playing a solo acoustic version at the Ryman in 2014. No one asked him too. But when he did, everyone cheered. Read more

He had the following to say about his new label, "We're so excited to finally announce that we have signed with Nuclear Blast Entertainment! We're looking forward to many more years of this with all of you."

We were sent the following background details on the new record: Fronted by the Reid brothers Jim and William, The Jesus And Mary Chain first reformed to play the Coachella festival back in 2007. Despite regular touring - most notably a 2015 world tour which revisited their landmark album 'Psychocandy' - it took some time before they could agree on a plan to record a much-mooted seventh album. Van Giersbergen had this to say, "I was honored and stoked that AMORPHIS asked me to perform with them at this special event. I have been listening to their latest album Under The Red Cloud non stop since it came out so you can imagine I said yes to the occasion wholeheartedly! Tomi is such an awesome singer and performer and I felt right at home singing with him. He and the band gave me full creative freedom to make their songs my own and do them justice with my vocal contribution."
"'Evening with friends' was a very unique show that left warm feelings to all us who experienced it from and off the stage", continues Esa. "We really wanted to have artists performing who's music and talent touches us. So when Anneke was in Finland playing her previous acoustic show couple months earlier we asked from her if she's interested to perform with us. At the end of the day it was a bit versus vice, I played couple songs with her at acoustic show in Helsinki that took place same weekend with AMORPHIS event. When you hear her voice you recognize immediately that it's Anneke. There are not many such talented singers around so we were really privileged to have her on board. 'Her Alone' is a track from the Silent Waters album that is very dramatic and big song. When Tomi and Anneke shares the vocals it really made the song to another level." Watch the video

Karl Willetts had this to say about the inspiration for the new track, "The lyrics to this song work on many levels. initially it relates to the literal interpretation of death all around on the battlefield.
"The song was written when there was a lot of high profile celebrity deaths e.g. Lemmy Kilmister 28/12/2015, David Bowie 10/01/2016, this was all over the media at the time when I was writing the lyrics to the song and had a major influence in the process. It seems that we all live in a world where we are all surrounded by death.
"Death itself is a taboo subject that we never really think about or discuss until it actually happens to someone we know and love, in this respect the song is a reference to Martin Kiddie Kearns and also to Franks dad who died not long after Martin.
"It is in some way a tribute their lives along with all the other people we have known and respected that have now passed on." Check out the song
here.
The series will include four EPs "Pale", "Black," "Red" and "White" and the group had this to say, " Here we dance on the precipice of a new adventure with perfectly laced boots and a new set of fantastic rules. Shaking off the last flakes of a broken heart we move in the direction of magnificence, shuffling our way into a movement that was created only by our willingness to let go of the pain from our past lives and rocket towards a future where boundaries are limitless and the indulgence we seek is just within reach.
The Neuromantic Movement has begun. The anger and self loathing of our formative years has been replaced with the innate desire to belong to an exclusive club that we design where the only rule is, there are no rules. We can dress according to our desires, f**k according to our wishes, laugh and dance and cry and let go of the sorrow we feel at times because life is full of darkness and pain and sometimes it doesn't feel as if it will ever get better." Check out the new song
here.
Frontman Tanner Allen had these comments, "This record means the world to us. We put so much effort into The Broken to convey the spectrum of emotions that we all feel while finding our place in the world. We're overwhelmed with excitement to finally release this record and we hope that everybody listening loves it as much as we do!"

The song "Magic" was written about 7 years ago in Ukraine and it has been sitting like a demo on my computer until last year. We picked it up quickly cause the song has the same vibe as ourselves - wild and hungry beasts of sanity on a riot. The working title of the song was "Book of Life" but we've change it to Magic, cause it just sounds more Johnson. The main theme of the single is that it stands out for unity. It's a call to form together, a strong community of personalities who are not spending their lives in virtual reality trying to do what they been told by the sneaky soulless system. It's an appeal to listen to the nature and the universe, listen to you soul and make a change. I can assure you the Magic will follow!
The studio experience was fun because we got to play with different fuzz pedals, from a cigar pack fuzz to radioactive fuzz box. Unfortunately we can't name them because they contain nuclear materials. That 80's flavored backing vocals in the chorus were sung by Mela Lee, witch made the experience one to remember. This song, like the whole record was recorded and mastered at the Rattle Room with help from Jaron Luksa. We are grateful to work with talented people with positive attitude and a professional approach to music.
At the end of last year we spotted Magic Johnson--yeah the all star basketball player--and ballsy enough, we decided to talk to him. It took one question, "Hey Magic, you wanna be in our music video?" to get the giant security guard to single handedly move us out of the way. Thanx Bob, I'm sure Magic would have accepted the proposal, so revenge is the sweetest joy next to....(you know the rest) and decided to have you in our video, gracias magic j.
