Rudd said in a Music Radar interview back in January that he was surprised at how well Axl did with the group. "I watched some clips the other day of Axl singing with the boys. I was surprised; it wasn't too bad. I was quite surprised, I thought he did quite well and that's not an easy gig, mate, it's not an easy gig at all. AC/DC is a tough gig for everyone in the band. I saw Angus jamming with Guns N' Roses as well. Apart from watching those clips though I don't know what's going to happen or what's going on with the band."
Fast forward to last week and Rudd spoke to KaaosTV ahead of his show at the WS Arena in Finland and he shared a more dismissing opinion of Axl and AC/DC, saying "That's obviously to for fill a contractual obligation," according to BraveWords.
During the chat, Rudd also expressed his desire to record with AC/DC leader Angus Young again. "I'd like to be involved with Angus again, maybe on the next album or something. I have a few travel restrictions, so I'm not even sure if I can get into America. So I have some limitations on what I can do. I'm just making the best of my situation at the moment."
A cause of death was unknown at press time. His daughter Louise broke the sad news to fans via Facebook. She wrote, "It is with heavy hearts that we notify everyone of the passing of our beloved father. We would appreciate privacy and time while we grieve the loss of our dad, grandad, friend and musical genius.
"We will update close friends and family when service arrangements have been made and will notify the public of an open memorial service, which all would be welcome. We are undeniably still in shock with his unexpected death and cannot begin to put into words the overwhelming sadness we are experiencing. He is missed tremendously. - Louise, Sam, Emily & Rori"

"Things are looking really good [now]," Schmit tells NPR (via Gibson) about his throat cancer battle following his 2012 diagnosis.
"It chipped away at my voice a bit. I didn't even know if I was going to be able to talk, let alone sing. I met Plcido Domingo the day after the Kennedy Awards and I was thrilled beyond belief because he has changed from being a tenor to a baritone. He just said, you know, I'm just going for it, I'm doing it still in a different range. That's basically what I got to say to him was, 'Yeah me too.'"
Schmit also discussed the January 2016 death of Glenn Frey. "You know, it took quite a while to process it. I don't know if I'll ever finish processing it, but I'm better now. I mean, life has to go on.
"All three of us, Joe [Walsh] and Don [Henley] and I, are all doing our separate projects right now. We're just moving on."

Johnson's latest surgery was on his leg and took place at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Following the procedure, Zach took to Instagram to update fans on Friday (April 14th).
He posted a photo from his hospital bed of his bandaged leg and wrote, "Surgery #12 is done. Not gonna lie, this one hurt like a bitch, but I hope it's the last. Took out the metal rod in my femur, the screws in my knee. Drilled out some bone from my right tibia, used a new incision in the middle of my leg to fuse that bone where my break was. New metal rod through the femur, metal plate over the fusion, new/bigger screws in my knee and hip. Hoping my hospital stay won't be too long! Thanks for all the well wishes." See his post

"We've always written well together, Lindsey and I," adds McVie, "and this has just spiralled into something really amazing that we've done between us."
Buckingham and McVie will support the record's launch with a summer series of concert dates across North America, starting June 21 in Atlanta, GA. Stream the song

Christina Chriss on the album's second single "Trouble In Paradise": The guys and I went on a "writing getaway" to our friend Chris Doty's (director & producer of our music video Goodbye) house in Fenton, MI. It was a lovely cabin style home, with a high cathedral ceiling and large open floor plan. We set up our gear and started jamming live right in the living room. Chris tossed down a well loved copy of Shel Silverstein's Where The Sidewalk Ends from a catwalk on the second floor overlooking the living room and told me some of his best ideas came from inspiration flipping through the pages of that very book. I skimmed through, reminiscing on my childhood memories with the book, laughed at a few illustrations and TROUBLE IN PARADISE popped in my head. We wrote the music and the lyrics simultaneously then recorded it on the spot.
When it came time to shoot the video, our friend Taco loaned us his gorgeous ocean front house and property in Paradise ... Key West, FL. With a single camera man and Cody from the band using our Go Pro we began filming what ended up being one of the most perfect shoots imaginable. The wild iguanas cooperated, making a few cameos all on their own and when it came time to shoot the final scenes, the most incredible thing happened!! I finished my hair and makeup, walked out to the waterfront and during one single take of the song Trouble came rolling in ... a tropical rainstorm made it's way across the gulf about halfway through the song and we caught it all on camera! The timing was uncanny! The universe was looking out and mother nature supplied us with the most AMAZING set! It wouldn't happen again if we tried!! To this day one of the craziest experiences of my life! Priceless production value!
Cody Morales on the current single "Die Tryin' " and their first single "Love and War": Well more of a anecdotal memory really. We were at Mike Cosgrove's (drummer of Alien Ant Farm) home studio in Riverside, California working hard on "Love and War" with Dryden Mitchell (our lead off single & Alien Ant Farm's lead singer, respectfully) and "Die Tryin' " our most recent single.
The weather was perfect, our rental vehicle (a hip family van) was slightly larger than our hotel room and we were recording in one of the only basements in the area, which I thought from a real estate perspective was pretty dang cool. I remember at some point we had finished tracking all the music for the songs and everyone had left to go to a bar nearby. I don't remember my purpose for staying behind but I did. Soon after they left I passed out on the couch, in what's kind of a half living room/half control room in the front of the house, beneath the front bay window and next to the front door.
Later that night Mike (with the keys to the house) and the band had parted ways for the evening and the band came back to to grab me to go back to the hotel room for the night. If I had been awake there'd be no story here however I was still very much asleep on the couch. So they proceeded to bang on the door and knock on the window just above my head. All attempts failed to wake me up, so they left me there. However seeing as how we had to come back the next day to wrap up some vocals it was fine and obviously I was very tired Now when I visualize them buzzing around the front of the house trying to wake me up to go to sleep at the hotel in the middle of the early morning and finally deciding to bounce and leave me there, it makes me giggle a bit.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album
