Meanwhile, long-term keyboardist Chris Pitman has apologised publicly for criticizing the reunion project. He posted a message online saying: "This is a nostalgia tour. Please don't mention those who are there the last 20 years, oh God no. A money grab. FU."

Bad Company and Walsh will be rotating the headline slot for each stop of the tour which is set to kick off on May 12th in Dallas, Texas and will conclude on July 3rd in Nashville TN on July 3rd.

Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers had this to say about the trek, "I had always hoped that we would do something together and so here we are 30 years later finally touring together.

Bach will be launching the tour on April 27th in Jacksonville, FL at Mavericks and wrapping up the trek on June 3rd in Salt Lake City, UT at The Depot.

The singer had this to say, "'An Evening with Sebastian Bach'. No, that doesn't mean we're going to end up in the back of a police car. It means that for selected shows on the upcoming tour, we want to do something brand-new. Let's bring the music back to its purest form.

"We have been touring a lot in the last few years so it's time to do something different. You're going to get two sets for the price of one. We're going to open up the show with some stripped-down tunes, re-set the stage, and then come back with the Big Guns."

The release of his memoir "18 And Life On Skid Row" has been delayed until June 28th. Bach explains the move, "Pushing the book gives us the opportunity to really finish it properly.

"The publishers asked me for 30 pictures. I gave them 150. There are easy ways to do memoirs, simple ways to do biographies. What separates these books is the archival content. '18 and LIFE on Skid Row' could also be called the Skid Row Archives.

"I am giving you my personal collection, photos, & documents none of you have ever seen. A lot of them. I look forward to the book release and the book tour following the book release.

The guitarist, who was replaced by Richie Faulkner when he left Judas Priest in 2011 after 41 years with the band, previously said it was unlikely a reunion would ever happen.

But he says he'd like to reunite with his former bandmates - but only under certain circumstances. He tells Blastecho: "Obviously they have Richie there. Maiden has done the three-guitar player thing, but I don't think there's room for an extra guitar player in Priest. Priest has always been a two-guitar band so I can't see that working. We'll have to see what happens next."

The collection includes Dylan's Blood On The Tracks notebooks, handwritten lyrics to Chimes Of Freedom, Ballad Of A Thin Man and Dignity, along with footage of the singer performing in Toronto's Massey Hall in 1980, New York's Supper Club in 1993 and rehearsing for the 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue. His manuscript for book Tarantula is also included.

In mid-February, Perry spoke with USA Today, and shared that he wasn't digging Tyler's country vibes. 'Hey, if I didn't know him when I heard the song I'd go, 'It's okay, next,'" he said.

And frontman Johan Hegg says while they've been happy with Gustafsson's contribution, the group will wait and see how the situation plays out over the coming months.

Hegg tells Metal Sucks (via Blabbermouth): "Instead of looking for a permanent member and then halfway through the writing process feeling like this is not the right guy for us, we decided to work with Tobias so we could focus on the album and get to looking for a permanent member after that.

They began tracking drums earlier this month for the follow-up to 2013's One Of Us Is The Killer - and the vocalist reports that what they've come up with so far is "weirder" and less melodic than recent releases.

Puciato tells Metal Wani: "So far it's a lot weirder to me than the other stuff that we've done - it's a lot less accessible which I'm sure may be a shock to people.

"Obviously we've got a lot more melodic over the years. As of right now it's pretty weird. I don't know if I would use the word aggressive - it's just really a change. I honestly don't really know how to describe it."

He reports the band are approaching album sessions in a way in which they haven't done before and plan to record tracks in batches rather than do everything at the same time.

King tells RVAMag: "We definitely thought about not releasing new music any more. Maybe doing what Down did, and release four songs before every tour. But really, until the time comes that albums are obsolete, you better believe Slayer's going to be making records."

How The Years Condemn is lifted from Napalm Death's 15th studio album, Apex Predator - Easy Meat. Bassist Shane Embury previously said of the track: "Musically I wanted this track to encompass lots of different rhythms and nuances in the short space of time which the song occupies.

"Lyrically, it's a departure from the rest of the new album as it's self-reflective. A couple of years ago I was hospitalised prior to a very important tour and was forced to miss out on going and had to stay at home.

And when asked if he's surprised at their continued popularity and ability to sell out stadiums, Ament reports that he often has to pinch himself when hitting the stage after an extended break.

He tells Rolling Stone: "After a while, I actually forget that I'm in this big band, so I'm always humbled and shocked when things like that happen. It's never not a surprise. It's always exciting to be on tour. You're in a nice hotel. You show up at the gig and the amps sound great.

"A lot of our crew has been with us for 15 to 25 years and they do a great job. It feels like, 'Wow, this is what I do.' That happens every time after we haven't toured in a while.

Tomasz 'Orion' Wroblewski tells FreqsTV: "It's important to bring out merchandise to the people. They know they can buy some unique stuff at the shows which is much appreciated, because this goes directly to us.

The band say: "Leprous has existed for almost 15 years, and have gone from being a completely unknown youth band from Notodden, Norway, to being a recognised name within the progressive metal scene.

"For quite a lot of years we've played with the thought of doing a live video and audio recording, but there have always been aspects of our live show we thought we could improve. In addition, the budget always seemed unrealistic. Now we have a show we're very proud of and we wish to eternalise it.

The former Pain Of Salvation bassist launches the work in April, following his one-man solo debut Rust in 2012. His latest promo introduces the band members and guests who perform alongside him on the follow-up.

Creeper join previously announced artists including Sikth, Ginger Wildheart, Young Guns, InMe and New years Day. Organizer Chris McCormack said of the 2016 bill:

Due March 25, the set captures the UK metal vets live at Germany's Wacken Festival last summer in front of an audience of 85,000 while on tour in support of 2014's "Redeemer Of Souls."

"Battle Cry" will be available on a 15-track CD, with the entire show on Blu-ray and DVD (running over 94 minutes), as well as digital audio and video formats.

After the event, Young told Rolling Stone that "It's like nothing that I've done. It's more like a giant radio show. It has no stops. The songs are too long for iTunes, thank God, so they won't be on iTunes. I'm making it available in the formats that can handle it."

They also plan to host Japanese acts Haco, Nippon Eldorado Kabarett, Cicala Mvta and Half The Sky. The RIO movement originated in the 70s after a collection of prog acts lead by band Henry Cow slammed the industry for refusing to recognise their music. Organisers hosted the first official RIO festival in 2007, but management now say "the future of Rock in Opposition is at stake."

Other artists confirmed include Humanity's Last Breath, Plini, Novelists, Frontierer, Yvette Young, Port Noir, She Must Burn, Ghost Iris, A Night In The Abyss, Loathe and Zephyr.

They join previously announced acts Between The Buried And Me, Protest The Hero, Textures, Fallujah and Fit For An Autopsy.

He says: "As a professional, working musician in the business for over 20 years, I have a background as a songwriter, band leader and producer. It's a history that's given me a unique perspective that I want to share with both students and working musicians who are looking for mentoring, education and practical skills."

Slash will reunite with Axl Rose and Duff McKagan next month to launch a reunion run with a pair of sold-out shows at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
