The 8-song mini-concert that shut down Hollywood Boulevard got off to a shaky start when Roth cut his nose on the microphone during the opening number, "Panama."
The singer left the stage during the track before returning to advise the crowd of his injury and apologized as the group took a short break before restarting the performance after Roth was outfitted with a bandage across his nose.
Van Halen then ran through a greatest hits set that included "Panama", "Runnin' With The Devil", "Hot For Teacher", "Eruption", "You Really Got Me", "Dance The Night Away". Unchained" and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."
On Monday, the program aired footage of "Panama", "Runnin' With The Devil" and a portion of "Dance The Night Away", which saw Roth invite a girl up from the crowd to dance.
The late night show will broadcast additional material from the mini-concert tonight, Tuesday March 31st. Check out the video from Monday night's show

Guitarist Keith Richards adds, "We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America! I can't wait to get back on the stage!"
The previously leaked dates were correct. Below is our previous report:
After a false start earlier this month with their #SatisfactionThurday teases, The Rolling Stones have revealed their plans to launch a North American tour summer.
The legendary band will be kicking off 15 date tour on May 24 at Petco Park in San Diego, Ca and conclude the trek on July 15th at Le Festival d'ete de Quebec in Quebec City, according to leaked tour date information.
At press time (7:00am EST March 31st) the band has not yet made their formal announcement but the dates were inadvertently leaked on Monday ahead of the official announcement, when advertisements listing the dates appeared on the websites for Major League Baseball teams The Minnesota Twins and the Kansas City Royals.
The band teased the announcement via social media on Monday by posting a photo of an American flag version of their lips and tongue logo and advising fans to check their website this morning for a big announcement.
As previously reported, the band was expected to make the tour announcement on March 19th. WKRN reported at the time that "the nationwide promoter's ticketing is being blamed for the delay" and the mayor of Nashville was forced postponed a planned announcement of a local show.

The news comes as the band release their debut album "Blaster" today (March 31) in North America. A cause of death has not been revealed. Weiland posted the following message, "We received a call today about my friend Jeremy Brown that has shaken me to the core.
"We were all concerned this afternoon when Jeremy didn't show up for a long-scheduled rehearsal for tonight's album release show at School Night. An hour later, Jeremy's family called us to say that he had passed away. I am in shock right now, everyone that knows him is devastated.
"It is a terrible loss that goes beyond words. He is one of my best friends, a truest friend and one of the most gifted guitar players that I've ever known. A true genius. It's impossible to explain how much he will be missed and what a hole this will leave in our hearts.
"A post on Facebook feels so trite and small compared to the love that I have for him and for the talent that has passed on but I felt it was necessary to at least start here. Please keep his family in your thoughts."
The summer trek will now includes a show in Hidalgo, Texas at State Farm Arena on June 30th and a concert in Grand Rapids, MI at Van Andel Arena on August 4th.
As of now the tour is scheduled to kick off on June 24th in Evansville, IN at The Ford Center and will conclude with the special Concert for Legends for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 7th in Canton, Oh.

He's replaced Shawn Drover in a guest capacity, who quit within hours of guitarist Chris Broderick's departure in November. Adler says: "Megadeth was the game-changer for me. There's no doubt I would not be doing what I've been doing for the past three decades had I not stumbled across Killing Is My Business, and the Bible of all metal, Peace Sells."
He adds that he's been in touch with Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson since Megadeth and Lamb Of God toured together 10 years ago. "When Dave called and asked if I was interested in making a thrash metal album with him, I felt like I must have been on a hidden camera show," says the drummer. Read more

We're still great friends, and will remain so regardless of Matt's status in the band." Read more

Directed by David Mallett, the clip was filmed on February 10 at the Dragonfly Club in Los Angeles after the band invited 150 fans to attend the taping.
Prior to the video shoot, AC/DC were in the city as they opened the 57th annual Grammy Awards on February 8. The performance featured the live debut of guitarist Stevie Young - nephew of Angus and retired founding member Malcolm Young - and the return of drummer Chris Slade to the lineup. Frontman Billy Corgan had this to say about the new video, "I asked, albeit in an allegorical way, for the video to represent what our returning soldiers are going through with PTSD, and I feel that the directors captured that with poignancy. I couldn't be more proud of the message we're sending that we care what happens to those that are out there hurting."
The group, Corgan and Jeff Schroeder, will be joined by The Killers' Mark Stoermer and drummer Brad Wilk when they perform the new song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 2nd.
The next morning, Corgan and Schroeder, will unplug for a performance of the song on Good Morning America. Check out the new video

Van Halen will miss the group's tour due to a scheduling conflict with his namesake band. Wolfgang explained in a statement, "I am still part of Tremonti and very excited for the release of Cauterize.
But unfortunately am unable to participate in the upcoming dates due to my prior commitment with Van Halen for the summer tour in support of the Tokyo Dome Live In Concert album. Read more

"Poundcake" was the lead single from Van Halen's ninth studio album, "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge." The track reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, while the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart on its way to selling more than 3 million copies in the States alone.
"At Your Service" captures The Circle - Hagar, Chickenfoot and former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and longtime Wabos guitarist Vic Johnson - in concert last year performing hits from Hagar's 4 Decades Of Rock show as well as classic tracks from the Led Zeppelin catalog. He and Pete Townshend are midway through their last-ever major road trip, which includes a return to London's Hyde Park in June before ending in the US in November - although it may be extended into 2016.
Daltrey tells Rolling Stone: "My voice is fine. I'm enjoying playing. There's something about looking down the end of a telescope and seeing the potential end.
"It brings me joy. I've always tried to sing as though I'm singing a song for the first time - now I sing as though I'm singing the song for what might be the last time."
And he's not worried about delivering the goods at the age of 71. "Maturity brings something extra to it," he says. "What it loses in the youthful exuberance, it makes up with the scars of age." Read more

Chaisson reports: "I'm afraid to say real life just jumped right up and got in the way of my good time. I can no longer take any more time away from my regular job.
"I want to thank everyone in the Red Dragon Cartel organization, and most of all, my best friend Jake E Lee. They will continue without me - and it will be fantastic as always." Read more

The group's manager John Finberg says: "Overkill is now a part of the Nuclear Blast family for the entire world. I've worked with the US office on various projects and they have a true understanding of what to do and how to do it.

He tells Rolling Stone: "Jimi was leaning against the studio window with his hat with a feather on it, a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, and his Strat at absolute roaring volume, just wailing. It was incredible. Surrealistic.
"Once he stopped playing we talked a little bit. He was very soft and shy. I walked out of the studio and Hendrix's drummer Mitch Mitchell was there, and there was a right-handed guitar.
"Of course, he played the other way. So I pick up the guitar and I'm starting to jam with Mitchell. Jimi came out, picked up the bass and started playing along with us." Read more

The band had the following to say in a statement: "We've had some amazing times and played some incredible shows, so we wish Jules all the very best for the future. We're really sad to see him go - but we respect his decision. The band's priority is always family, life and people's wellbeing."

Among the band's complaints are long meetings, arguments about branding, attempts to retrain Brickhouse's voice and the requirement to sell more than 250,000 copies of the album before the second of five payments come from the label.
Alec Atkins says: "It was pretty difficult at times. A particular lady at the label was just talking at us for six hours. We were pretty restless and wanted to get up and do something else - but had us in this meeting for six hours."

Souza returned for a third stint last year, replacing former frontman Rob Dukes after years of bad feeling between the singer and guitarist Gary Holt. And Testament frontman Billy, who runs the Breaking Bands management firm, hints that the group were already thinking of ditching Dukes, who'd spent nine years with them.
Billy tells KTVU: "All we knew was that they were getting ready to do a new record and that possibly Rob might not be on this one. We thought, 'What do we do? Do we go out, start from scratch and get a new singer? Or do we maybe bring Zet back into the fold?
"We tossed it around and said, 'The thing that makes sense is Zet - he knows all the old material. He could step right in and nail the new record right away.'"
In order to avoid unnecessary argument, Billy arranged for Souza to record a version of one of the songs planned for Blood In, Blood Out. "He knocked it out in one take and we sent it to Gary Holt and the guys," says Billy. "They said, 'We know what we're going to do.'" Read more

Guitarist Olie Tretheway says of the release: "We're really excited to release our second single and the brand new video. The video was filmed on the road last year, and shows a little bit of what you can expect if you come to a Black State Highway show.
"Speaking of which, we cant wait to get back on the road with a solid run of UK dates, as well as playing Hard Rock Hell in Ibiza. The whole reason we're in a band is to perform live, we'll be playing tracks from our album as well as trying out some new material, which makes it even more enjoyable for us, and hopefully for our fans as well." But Lucassen - who won't take part in the full-power Gentle Storm shows fronted by Giersbergen - initially didn't even want to play the stripped-down concerts.
In the exclusive Prog video interview he says: "I played live for 15 years when I was young, a long time ago. I see myself more as a composer and producer; that's what I'm good at. I don't see myself as a performer, because I'm not very good at it, and I get stage fright and stuff like that."
He continues: "When Anneke asked me to do a little acoustic tour, at first I was like, 'Nah.' But then I thought about it, and I thought, 'Damn it, we worked on this album for a year. Everything turned out right about it. It has to succeed - and I'll do anything to make it work.'"

Now he tells All Access Live: "I'm developing a completely new sound for the band - 'new industrial.' I guess creating a new genre is where I'm at. Filter's always been so hard to place.
"Some people say, 'I like the rock,' and others say, 'I like the mellow stuff.' There are several songs that sound straight-up industrial, like old Filter, and I have to stay true to that sound. But it's so important to venture forward and recognise we're in 2015."
Filter are targeting a summer release, but Patrick says he and the band won't hurry the process. Read more

Bassist and vocalist Jan Erik Liljestrom says: "How to pick a first single from the forthcoming album? Choose a song that is fairly representative and has a bit of everything in it, but is less than 10 minutes long. That the first line in the lyrics is, 'Hello my friend' is a bonus in this case."
Liljestrom, guitarist Nicklas Barker, drummer Peter Nordins and cellist/keyboardist Anna Sofi Dahlberg are joined on the record by a number of guest musicians, including King Crimson and Steven Wilson collaborator Theo Travis and ex Opeth keyboardist Per Wiberg. Check out the song

I wrote "Coffee Talk" in the middle of the summer. I stress the middle of the summer because I feel like it's the only time my mind, body and soul are at ease. I was renting a tiny room in a sketchy apartment last July in Richmond and I was SO broke it isn't funny. I mean I was washing plastic forks to reuse.. But I wasn't miserable because I was able to skate throughout the night and photograph the city to escape my worldly problems.
That being said, I was also seeing a girl who lit a fire in my bones. We would work all day and stay up all night, biking around, and drinking sh*tty Waffle House coffee (hence the reference), and I just really enjoyed the comfort of knowing, that at the end of the day I could lay in her comfortable, clean, air conditioned room and complain about how easy, or at least how easy it seemed, everyone else had it.
It's rare that you feel a genuine connection anymore, in a time of uploaded memories and digital harassment. You don't truly get to embrace the beauty of a good conversation and sometimes just the subtle warmth of having someone that doesn't expect anything in return, just company is good enough.
It's a summer song for the penniless dreamer and the romantic.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about the band
