Scott Weiland Tangles With Your Mind |
Blabbermouth is streaming the video but also has this info: "I had watched this movie called 'The Science of Sleep' about a year ago and I fell in love with the film," Weiland told Spinner.com. "I thought it was such a cool and interesting approach and I wanted to use that in a video sometime."
Weiland also had the idea that he wanted to reach out to film students and see if he could give someone a big break. So when relative newcomer Dennis Roberts came up with a treatment that was surprisingly close to what Weiland had already envisioned, he got the go-ahead. "I was really impressed," Weiland told Spinner.com. "I've worked with huge video directors and [Roberts] and his crew were just as professional as anyone I've ever worked with."

Given Phish's long-standing Halloween tradition of donning a "musical costume" and performing a classic album from another band, speculation is rampant as to which album the band will play during its "Halloween set," scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
In the first of three performances on Sunday, November 1, Phish will play its first-ever full-length acoustic set. Coffee and donuts will be served during this "breakfast" show. Essential Clash Interviews |
Jack Bruce and Robin Trower Live Album Hits This Week |
The new CD was recorded in Nijmegen, Holland, in February of this year in front of a wildly-enthusiastic crowd that had traveled from all across Europe to be a part of this special event. Seven Moons Live features a dozen songs, including eight live versions of tunes Bruce and Trower had recorded on their critically-acclaimed Seven Moons studio album released in early 2008; one track ("Carmen") originally recorded by Bruce and Trower with the B.L.T. trio in 1981; and three exciting re-workings of classic Jack Bruce songs - "Sunshine of Your Love," "White Room," and "Politician" - from his days as a member of the supergroup, Cream.
The Seven Moons Live recording was only the band's third show on the tour, but the amazing interplay amongst the musicians, coupled with their fantastic chemistry, is imminently present throughout the album. As Jack Bruce enthuses after one of the first few songs, "Now we are beginning to get somewhere!"
