Singled Out: J.R. Richards (Dishwalla) Pt II |
So much of the theme of this record was inspired by loss and healing. I unfortunately had many friends and family members pass away right before and during the writing of this record and it was hard to write with out those things on my mind. Dealing with loss was something new for me and because writing has always been my out lit for both joy and in this case sadness.
The ghost in "Ghost of Sorrow" is that sadness coming to visit me late in the night. And after being face to face with it, I deciding I would no longer fear it.
