Dead To Fall Announce Final Show |
Sadly, last April, while on their headlining tour in support of the release of the band's 4th studio album Are You Serious?, the constant touring finally made Dead To Fall collapse under their own weight. Vocalist Jon Hunt said, 'We just fell apart. After so many lineup changes, tour struggles, and internal struggles, it was just time to let it go.' The band cancelled the remainder of their headlining tour and went their separate ways.
Almost exactly one year later, Dead To Fall is excited to announce their final farewell show a proper way to say goodbye to their original hometown, Chicago.

Staind, Shinedown and Chevelle Hope To Stimulate Fans With New Tour |
Making its way across the U.S. beginning July 1 and extending through early September, the "Stimulate This!" tour will hit more than 40 U.S. markets, including some of the hardest hit by the recession. In a show of solidarity for their fans, the four bands have worked closely with the concert promoters to create a package of exceptional value for ticket buyers.
Through their collective efforts, they've been able to maintain modest base ticket prices that remain mostly under $40 each - half the cost of comparable multi-band summer tour packages - with some venues offering lawn seats for less than $10. Additionally, each tour stop will include special promotions for ticket holders that will vary from market to market, but could include discounts on concessions at the venue during the show, store discounts at local retailers, and online rebates for band merchandise to name a few.

Meg has overcome the 'acute anxiety' that upended the band's 2007 tour, which, according to Jack "was a very real problem, but one that I'm happy to say is in the past."

Slash Fans Will Need A Little Patience |
Its hard to explain, but I really needed this creative outlet to do stuff I haven't been at liberty to do in a LONG while. To be honest, I have been having a ridiculously good time working on this project.
And, the singers have all been genuinely awe inspiring & a pleasure to work with. They are the focus of what this record ultimately will sound like, regardless of how good the instruments sound. With their input, every session has had its own unique vibe & character & the songs have developed a personality unique to each individual vocalist, cool stuff.
Unfortunately, this record is not going to come out until next year, but its going to be worth the wait, I promise.

Singled Out: J.R. Richards (Dishwalla) Pt I |
I had just moved to Florida and was just beginning to write songs for what was going to be my first solo record when one of my good friends Michael Godard called me. His daughter Page had been fighting cancer for quite a while and had just past away at 15. He asked if I could sing at her service......so I immediately jumped on a plane and headed back to California.
That day was a powerful one........ I was amazed at how much she had affected the world at such a young age and carried the stories I heard that day with me as I boarded the plane taking me back home. By the time I landed in Florida I had finished the lyrics to the song.
Learn more about J.R., his new album, find out where he's playing, and preview tracks from the new CD (and order a physical copy of the CD)
