The band's drummer Chad Smith aggravated an old injury that had not healed while playing the Olympia in Paris last week and is since suffering from a tear of various tendons in the shoulder and upper arm/biceps.

Panic at the Disco Split |
Ryan & Jon said: "Ryan Ross and Jon Walker will be leaving Panic at the Disco to embark on a musical excursion of their own. Though the four of us have made music together in the past, we've creatively evolved in different directions which has compromised what each of us want to personally achieve. Over the years, we have remained close and honest with each other, which helped us to realize that our goals were different and that parting ways is truly what is best for each of us. We are all excited for the future, you should be too.- "
The remaining band members, Brendon and Spencer, issued this statement: We just wanted to let you know, that the news of Ryan and Jon leaving the band is unfortunately true. It's been an amazing journey being in a band with them, but sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can't ignore it. They are some of the most talented guys we know, and we're sure that whatever they do next will be great. That said, Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear.

Metallica Fight Leads To Rocker's Eviction |
"A few weeks ago before the end of June, I was told by my landlord company that I have to be out of my place by the end of the month, apparently due to too many noise complaints. Funny thing is, the guy making the complaints makes more noise than me, only difference is that I tend not to complain. Anyway, he was doing his regular 2am monday morning Metallica S&M ritual when I had enough and went down to confront him about it with a copy of Kill Em All explaining that if he's got to crank Metallica at 2am, they have more than that symphony ----.
"Well, he took my presentation of Kill Em All as an insult and it resulted in a heated argument that ended with him running back into his place and slamming the door. I then smashed his door with a hockey stick. I just received a written notice from the landlord saying I have to be out by the end of the month. Fine with me!"

Well, Reznor raised over $850,000 U.S., and even got a tip of the hat from a number of New York politicians. Unfortunately, De La Cruz tragically passed away on Saturday (July 4) at the young age of 27. While the money was enough for a transplant, and De La Cruz was approved for Medicare, his condition deteriorated too rapidly.

Tool Tour Gets Tweaked |
The Used Set New Release |
Produced by Matt Squire, Artwork is a raw collection of eleven songs that not so delicately teeter the line between being aggressively discordant and charmingly hooky. The first single, "Blood On My Hands" premiered June 30th; it sold over five thousand copies in the first day and shot to #9 on the iTunes Alternative Chart. The track, which guitarist Quinn Allman describes as the song that "sums up everything about The Used" hits radio July 14th.
"Blood On My Hands" is confined chaos, brutally thrashing one moment and proffering a pop-driven, sing-along chorus the next. "Empty With You," a track frontman Bert McCracken says is "about feeling empty and lonely but as long as you have someone who can feel lonely with you then everything's okay," surges with passion and gripping honesty, while "Kissing You Goodbye" balances the album's predilection for propulsive rage with its quieter, piano-driven exploration of what it means to have someone to lean on.
