Which is why rumours are building that it's all a great big fake. A report yesterday claimed that Joaquin Phoenix is only getting up to all these shenanigans because he and Casey Affleck are pulling a big Andy Kaufman-esque art prank on everyone, and the end result will be a spoof documentary lampooning self-important stars and, we guess, the gullibility of the media.
But that's not the case at all, says Joaquin Phoenix's mouthpiece Susan Patricola. Joaquin is definitely a rapper. Definitely. MTV reports: "The transition from one career to another is never seamless. It should come as no surprise to anyone that Joaquin came from a musical family, in addition to winning a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Johnny Cash. He intends on exploring his musical interests despite speculative, negative or positive reactions."

It's easy to forget that not only have the Prodigy given us some of the greatest hits of the rave era and beyond with 'Outer Space' 'Everybody In the Place', 'Charley Says', 'Firestarter' and 'Smack My Bitch Up', they also gave a face to rave and to the rest of us donated the whole idea of selling a credible, uncompromising dance music album with the personality and punk panache of a rock artist � and sold 16 million albums in the process.
Now, on Invaders Must Die, Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim all featured on the album, which is the first time since the release of Fat Of The Land in 1997. The result is back to their bone shaking best, a collision of old skool rave noise with the stratospheric limits of new technology.

First up is a series of shows alongside We The Kings, kicking off February 6th at Burlington, Vermont's Higher Ground and then continuing through early March (see attached itinerary). The multi-artist bill will also feature The Maine, VersaEmerge, There For Tomorrow.
The Cab will then be among the line-up traveling the country as part of the second annual Bamboozle Roadshow, sharing the bill with such bands as We The Kings, Forever The Sickest Kids, Mercy Mercedes, and NeverShoutNever! The dates begin on April 5th at Tucson, Arizona's Rialto Theatre and run through an April 30th finale at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, New York.

A limited-edition vinyl single of "No Home"/"Lo And Behold," recorded with friend/fan Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, will be available as well.

The cover was designed by Brazilian artist Jobert Mellow who had previously worked with the band on the American edition of the successful debut album Theatre of Shadows (2007) and is also known for works with Sabaton, Grave Digger, Heavenwood, Stuck Mojo, Iron Fire and others.
Dare to Dream was produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (System of a Down, Audioslave, Avenged Sevenfold) at LCM Studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera and several others) at Masterdisk Studio in New York.
