Stabbings At Notorious Premiere After Party |
Police said Saturday a 21-year-old victim stabbed numerous times was in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. Three others were stable.
While the party had been promoted as the "official" after-party, "Notorious" distributor, Fox Searchlight, said it was not related.

British Judge David Radford said the 47-year-old former Culture Club frontman, whose real name is George O'Dowd, was guilty of "gratuitous violence."
O'Dowd's lawyer said his client and the escort had both behaved like "drug-crazed idiots" and that O'Dowd's substance abuse problems were a contributing factor.

The collection � available as both individual CD and two-disc CD/DVD set � features tracks culled from the legendary trio's two decades with Atlantic Records, spanning such acclaimed studio works as 1989's "Presto," 1991's "Roll The Bones," 1993's "Counterparts," 1996's "Test For Echo," 2002's "Vapor Trails," and 2007's "Snakes & Arrows"
In addition, "Retrospective III" features a previously unreleased live version of the classic "Ghost of a Chance," recorded live in Atlanta during Rush's 2008 "Snakes & Arrows Tour," as well as two tracks � "One Little Victory" and "Earthshine" � newly remixed by the band's Alex Lifeson and master mixer Richard Chycki (Aerosmith, Mick Jagger, P. Diddy).

Pete (Now Peter) Doherty Officially Announces Solo CD |
The album, Grace/Wasteland, was recorded over a month of sessions in autumn 2008 at London's legendary Olympic Studios with producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur, Cranberries, Kaiser Chiefs). Street also produced the 2007 top 5 U.K. album Shotter's Nation by Babyshambles, Doherty's current band.
Album collaborators include guitarist Graham Coxon (Blur), who plays throughout the album; Scottish singer Dot Allison, who co-wrote the duet "Sheepskin Tearaway," which was also featured on Babyshambles' live DVD Up the Shambles; and poet Peter "Wolfman" Wolfe, co-writer and guitarist on "Broken Love Song". Doherty had previously made a guest appearance on Wolfe's U.K. No. 7 single and Ivor Novello Award-nominated song "For Lovers".

New Neil Young CD So Bad That Not Even Fans Like It? |
This week, however, reports have emerged that an album of new Neil Young material � called Fork In the Road � will pre-empt Archives, pushing its February release back into spring. Often, this would call for celebration. Who needs old material when you are being offered shiny, new songs by a music legend? Alas, that's not what Neil Young's fans seem to be thinking. They have heard these new songs � on Young's recent tour, or in a new viral video � and let's just say they don't like them very much.
"Would a record company actually listen to this garbage and then agree to release it?" asked one fan at the popular Thrasher's Wheat site. "At some point, they're going to have to take a stand � right? I'm actually rooting for the record company here."

"It was about time that our band wrote a song dedicated to the people who are of the same sex as us, men," says lyricist and co-vocalist Jesse Korman about the first track, "Glory Kingdom." ""Marvin's Jungle" is about a childhood friend of mine named Marvin who was picked on and hurt by our other classmates, so I stayed by his side to help protect him."
