The list of recognizable songs is impressive: "Just Remember I Love You," "Strange Way," "Cinderella," "You Are The Woman�" "Livin Ain't Livin," "Mexico," "So Long," "Goddbye I Love You" and many others. There's also the newest Firefall single, "Walk More Softly." Their vocals and musicianship are at an extremely high level; the solos feature spontaneous fiery interaction between lead guitars, sax and flute. One thing is certain, Firefall isn't just a 'ballads' band, these guys rock!

The band will also head out on a eight-date run of shows surrounding the release of Mama, I'm Swollen, beginning with a sold-out show in Brooklyn, NY at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 9th and leading up to numerous performances at this year's SXSW.

Fan presale tickets for the tour go on sale February 27th and will be available to the public on March 5th. The start of the tour marks the date of the band's much anticipated second full-length release. Entitled Mean Everything To Nothing, the new record delivers the most honest sound the band has created to date. It's everything that a rock record should be: raw, urgent and authentic.

And today Metal Mind Productions will re-release first three albums from the band's wide discography: Are You A Rebel?, Dirty Money, Dirty Tricks, and Streap Tease.
All three titles are limited to 1000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process. Metal Mind Productions set the release date for 23rd March in Europe and 5th May in USA (via MVD).

The Blue Aeroplanes Books First US Shows in 13 Years |
A long time part of the Bristol, England, music scene that spawned great bands like Massive Attack, Portishead, and Tricky, the Aeroplanes hold a special place in the history of British pop music. The current schedule includes two gigs with more to be announced.
With a new album in the can, When Things Are Good, sounding like a collision between the Hold Steady, Lou Reed with a British accent and Bright Eyes, the Aeroplanes are heading to Austin with their greatest statement of intent yet.

The young Vancouver-based band with a remarkable talent for blending various musical styles into a brand of infectious pop that is uniquely their own will start their upcoming tour February 26 at Seattle's High Dive and end off April 24 at the infamous Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, hitting Austin's SXSW Music Festival in March and LA's Musexpo Conference in April along the way.
Settling down for only a short time after their September 2008 release of It's Easier To Be Somebody Else and the album's subsequent tour, Hey Ocean! is ready to take to the road again.
