However, after completing a world tour with the New Sensation hit-makers, 35-year-old Fortune claims he was simply abandoned - and is now living in his car.
Free Coldplay Album |
In reality, though, Coldplay don't need to bribe. So let's just give Chris Martin's sincerity the benefit of the doubt: "What we want to do is try to giveaway a live album for free," Martin told The Sun.
"We're playing a lot of shows in the summer and I think what we would like to do is - bearing in mind the recession we are in - record the live album then give it as a gift."

Kanye's Sex Addiction |
"Put this in the magazine: There's nothing more to be said about music. I'm the f--king end-all, be-all of music." "Oh my God, I'm one of the greatest rappers in the world. I'll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate that track, I'll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn't have to think of it." "I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he puts his glasses on."
What other new tales of grandeur might Kanye have added to his repertoire? Just that a sexual addiction at a young age has somehow fueled his drive for greatness... "People ask me a lot about my drive," he says. "I think it comes from, like, having a sexual addiction at a really young age. Look at the drive that people have to get sexto dress like this and get a haircut and be in the club in the freezing cold at 3 a.m., the places they go to pick up a girl. If you can focus the energy into something valuable, put that into work ethic..."

Tour Plans Go Down in Flames Due To Rehab |
"We are very sad to announce that the UK and Ireland tour will not happen as planned. As you already know, Jesper is currently at an alcohol rehabilitation clinic and is taking some time off to get better. Peter is about to become a dad.
"We obviously knew about Peter becoming a dad and originally planned to have a replacement bassist, but with the recent events surrounding Jesper we simply feel that it is not fair on the fans to see a completely different line-up, which in our eyes is not In Flames. Again, sorry to make any UK and Irish fans disappointed and we hope to make it up to you very soon!"

REPO! Road Tour Diary: Phoenix |
Phoenix, Arizona: stop number 10 on REPO Road Tour 3. There are 2 REPO! screenings tonight (a 9:00pm and a midnight) at Chandler Cinemas. And hopefully good things come in 2s in AZ, because this is our 2nd tour stop at the Chandlerthe 1st being in December on RRT2. Since this is the only venue/city that we're visiting twice, we'll find out tonight whether our road tour efforts have started a raging REPO! fire in Phoenix, or if our spark is already burning out.
January 23, 2009.: Phoenix was not originally on the RRT3 schedule. We were set to visit Milwaukee instead. But when a last-minute scheduling conflict forced us to find a replacement venue, and fast, Chandler Cinema seemed the natural choice; not only was REPO! well received here last month, but the theatre's managers, Matteo and Andrea (who are also behind "Come As You Are", Phoenix's Rocky Horror cast), are super cool people who have promoted the hell out of REPO!
Another added benefit of this unexpected scheduling change, is that we're in town for the opening day of Phoenix's Comicon. As such, Chandler Cinemas has arranged a REPO! booth at the convention where director Darren Lynn Bousman, actor Bill Moseley, & I, will pop in this afternoon to sign a few REPO! posters and promote tonight's screenings.
