In:Aviate Go On Hiatus |
This is not the end of the band, as our lives have pulled in different directions. This indefinite hiatus was decided because we all have to focus on other things going on outside of In:Aviate.
As some of you might know, our guitar player, Todd was recently married, and is now expecting a son this spring! We are more than happy for him, and wish him the best at his new life as a husband and a father. The remaining four of us recently recorded a few new songs, and plan on continuing playing together under the name, Motions and Miles.
Dio Cancer Fight Update |
Well, it has been a very exhausting month after all the neverending tests in Los Angeles, we flew to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, and as soon as we arrived, we got a call from the MD Anderson Hospital that they had an appointment for us with the doctor we originally wanted, so we then flew to Houston to the clinic, and of course MORE tests, but Ronnie finished receiving his first chemo treatment on Wednesday, and all is going very well.
Ronnie and I are totally overwhelmed by the amount of well wishes that we have received from friends and fans - we are reading them all. Some make us laugh, some make us cry, but all of them are so filled with love that it gives us so much support and makes Ronnie even more determined to fight this battle and win. Thank you all for the positive energy and prayers.

Winds Of Plague Announce Headlining Never Say Die! Tour |
This massive, month-long trek, which kicks off on Jan. 23rd, also features labelmates Despised Icon alongside For Today, Stray From The Path and The World We Knew.
Johnny (vocals) further states: "We have just passed the halfway mark on 'The California Love' tour and already the tour has proven to be a massive success, as well as a very memorable moment in Winds Of Plague history. This has been our first sole headliner, which is nerve racking in itself, but the WOP Soldiers have been strong in numbers and have been some of the most insane shows we have played to date. It's been awesome to get back into some smaller clubs that we have played while we were coming up and re-visit our roots. This tour also marks the debut of keyboardist Alana Potocnik to the band. Alana's positive attitude and hungry work ethic is a breath of fresh air, with her talent and creative writing abilities new material will be nothing short of epic. With our return to Southern California for the December Decimation Fest still on the horizon, 'The California Love' tour will go down in our history as some of the best times of our lives and we thank our fans for making it all possible."

Suicidal Tendencies Announce Their DVD Debut |
Fontana Distribution is proud to announce Live At The Olympic Auditorium, Suicidal Tendencies' first ever DVD release! The DVD will street January 26, 2010 via the band's own imprint, Suicidal Records. The approximately 80-minute DVD features 16 tracks including ST classics "Institutionalized," "War Inside My Head," and "Possessed To Skate" and captures Suicidal in their most natural environment: Onstage, uncensored and ready to tear you to shreds.
Elaborated ST founding vocalist Mike Muir: "The band started getting emails from some crazy guy that always said, 'I know you'll probably think I'm crazy, but I'm not. I'm wanna book ST for a show and I got this idea...'. Well, one by one we shot down the 'unique' ideas until one time he emailed and said the Olympic Auditorium was being bought by a Korean Church. Shouldn't it be sent off with a special last gig? The band agreed and then the work began. The promoter -- Evel Dick Donato who went on to win Big Brother -- tells a bit about the show, making of etc. on the intro. Lots of drama, none more than the day before the show when I woke up and couldn't walk. But the show must go on and the back surgery would have to wait till afterwards. Suicidal recorded live at the Olympic Auditorium in front of 4,000 Cycos...but now you can enjoy it in the safety of your living room."
