Living Sacrifice Return With New Album |
"This new record came together great. I could not be more pleased with the final mixes that Andy Sneap has done. We dug deep into our thrash roots on this one, I think. The album title refers to God and the universe. Man is finite and limited, our knowledge is limited. Wrestling with the concept of infinity is difficult, but there is true peace in trusting in God." Says Bruce Fitzhugh, Living Sacrifice's front man.
The Infinite Order was produced in Nashville, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas by the band's longtime friend Jeremiah Scott (The Showdown, Destroy Destroy Destroy). Mixing duties are once again being handled by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Machine Head, As I Lay Dying), who mixed the band's last album, 2003's Conceived in Fire.

Zappa Band's Ike Willis Hitting the Road |
"We're going to be doing all the old Frank Zappa favorites, along with stuff from 'Joe's Garage'," says Ike. "Basically, we span all of the eras."
Pojama People features Alli Bach (vocals, percussion, winds, terpsechorean ejectamenta) and Glenn Leonard (drums and "I Was There" musical direction). Rounding out the unit are Portland's Brian Casey (bass) and Ted Clifford (keyboards). Spawned from Zappa tribute ensemble Project/Object, drummer Glenn Leonard (who had played 7 national tours with Project/Object) decided to start his own band to honor the late, great Mother. "I moved from Philly to Oregon in order to marry Alli and start a new Zappa project on the west coast with Ike Willis," Glenn related. "Alli and I met up every time Project/Object played in Eugene, where she would guest doing interpretive modern dance to various FZ songs or improvisations. She joined the tour as a guest in 2004 from Portland to San Francisco where she was featured doing 'The Black Page' on tap! At that point, I knew she was the woman for me. A cross-country romance bloomed and by 2006 I moved to Eugene."

The Rifles Take Aim At America |
The Rifles burst onto the UK music scene in 2006 with their rebellious and attitude-laden debut No Love Lost, an album revealing the hopes and dreams of working-class suburban drudgery. They spent the next two years touring relentlessly and building an enormous army of fans along the way, which includes some of the foursome's musical heroes like Paul Weller, Tim Lovejoy, Oasis and more.
It's now round two for The Rifles, and with some enormo-anthems, Great Escape is a soaring indie mission statementan exhilarating sound of a band raising their game for a shot at the big time. With Jan 'Stan' Kybert (Weller, Oasis, Bjork) on production duties, singer Joel Stoker, guitarist Luke Crowther, bassist Rob Pyne, and drummer Grant Marsh have been guided to a place of musical maturity.

Needtobreathe Announce Album and Tour |
Be captivated by their ability to mend warm, organic textures to their powerful brand of skyscraping, heartfelt rock. The latest single "Something Beautiful" is featured in the highly esteemed USA Today playlist. With their new album The Outsiders, NEEDTOBREATHE has truly come into their own, seamlessly blending ambient, arena-ready soundscapes with a decidedly Southern sensibility. The band co-produced The Outsiders with three different producers: Jim Scott (Tom Petty's Wildflowers, Wilco), Rick Beato (Shinedown, Jump Little Children) and John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer).
Catch Needtobreathe alongside Griffin House on their headlining summer tour. It is truly magic when the band takes the stage. The band has honed their live show the old-fashioned way putting in the time, spending years on the road. Aside from their skillful musicianship, there's a spontaneous energy that intangibly connects them with their audience. The OC Register recently praised Needtobreathe's live show, stating that "rising outfit NEEDTOBREATHE was a revelation."

brakesbrakesbrakes Releasing Live Album |
U.S. audiences will have a chance to witness the band's notorious live show this October as the UK lads break a two+ year absence from the States for a support run with label mates The Twilight Sad and We Were Promised Jetpacks, followed by a co-headline tour with Ezra Furman and the Harpoons.
Brakes (as they are known outside of the U.S.) handpicked the tracks that comprise Rock Is Dodelijk (Dodelijk cheekily means "deadly" in Dutch), from two shows: a hometown Brighton, UK show at the Concorde in August 2008 and from a May 2009 show at Luxor in Cologne, Germany. Recorded live by drummer Alex White and mixed by Paul Savage (of Glasgow's Chem19 Studios, who also worked on Touchdown) and by Ric Peet, the live set captures the band's rambunctious energy and ear-splitting immediacy as they crash through choice cuts and singles from their acclaimed catalogue, including "Hey Hey," "Don't Take Me To Space (Man)," and "Why Tell The Truth (When It's Easier To Lie)?" from their third LP, Touchdown, released earlier this year on FatCat.
