Essential Eagles Book Coming |
Focusing on the group's 1972 1980 heyday, this book chronicles the dynamics and inner workings of the Eagles steered by principals Don Henley and Glen Frey as they shifted from country rock innovators to stadium rock icons.
Never before have the band's vital media encounters from this era been compiled in print form. EAGLES: ESSENTIAL INTERVIEWS explores the band from its humble beginnings in the early 1970s up through its break-up at the dawn of the 1980s.
Myspace Leaks Doves Album |
"Kingdom of Rust" is the critically-acclaimed and beloved British trio's first album in four years. The album delivers Doves' most intimate and cerebral album to date. Comprised of brothers Jez and Andy Williams, and Jimi Goodwin, the band has been recording the album for the past 18 months, having ensconced themselves to a farm house-come-studio in Cheshire, England. They teamed up with long-time Doves collaborator Dan Austin to co-produce all but two tracks on the album. For the additional two tracks, "10.03" and "Winter Hill," the group worked with ace producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead).

Emery Release Digital Cutthroat Song |
With this single (and album), Emery is sticking to their music roots by picking up where they left off with their recent While Broken Hearts Prevail EP by keeping it heavy, exciting and enticing.
Commenting on the single, vocalist / bassist, Toby Morrell states, "I believe this is the heaviest and at the same time the most melodic song Emery has ever written. The heavy parts are super heavy, and the melodic parts are soft and catchy."
Fans can also be on the lookout for special webisodes from the band. More information and up-to-date news on Emery, please visit:

Death By Stereo Ink Deal with Serj Tankian |
Commenting on the signing, Tankian explained: "As someone who appreciates Death By Stereo and what they've done over the years, when I found out that the band was looking for a new label partner, I immediately approached them about the possibility of signing to Serjical Strike. "They are an amazing band that has always impressed me with their musicianship, honesty and work ethic. Their latest album is one that I am very happy to be a part of as I feel it is their best yet."
The new effort was produced by Jason Freese (Green Day) and mixed by Jay Baumgardener (Linkin Park) at NRG Studios).

Molotov Solution Harbinger Details |
The Harbinger will contain 11 blistering tracks, which were recorded with Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying), Daniel Castleman, and Kelly Cairns at Lambesis studios in San Diego, CA (Sworn Enemy, Impending Doom, War of Ages).
"Working with people like Kelly and Daniel at Lambesis Studio allowed our CD to really come out the way we intended it to simply because the mass amount of time they put into it for us. Jeremy managed to shell out all 11 tracks in about 9 hours which allowed us to focus greatly on vocals and guitars! With at least 12 hours a day for about 3 weeks of constant performing, we honestly feel that the songs could not get any tighter.

Trouble for Santigold |
Trouble began his takeover at Irvine's Bamboozle Left April 5on a bill featuring headliners 50 Cent, Deftones and Taking Back Sunday. He immediately joins Santigold in San Francisco for a coast-to-coast romp.
