Last night we lost the transmission in our van, spent the night in the 24 degree weather, spent the day at the mechanic and now we are in a small town called New Florance in southern Missouri. Luckily everything can be fixed within a few days but, now we are stuck with a huge mechanic bill.
We are asking for donations to help us through this. If you can spare any money - please send it via paypal to thistimenextyearmusic@gmail.com - If you are not able to do that please head over to Taco Bell's www.FeedTheBeat.com and vote for us. That will at least save us money on food and right now we need all the help we can get.

The conservatorship was scheduled to end on December 31. Sources say one reason why Brit & Co. wanted to extend the conservatorship is that it makes it easier for her to regain custody of her kids -- the family law commissioner will feel more comfortable giving her added face time if there is a safety net.
The conservators will now also be responsible for handling her business affairs and career opportunities. As for why they suddenly asked for a permanent conservatorship -- we're told the commish doesn't want to keep extending temporary power...that it makes more sense to make the conservatorship permanent and then just lift it when Brit is safe and sound.

The band - Harry Vanda, George Young, Stevie Wright, Dick Diamonde and Gordon "Snowy" Fleet - formed in Sydney in 1964 and almost immediately 'Easy Fever' took Australia by storm and was soon to captivate audiences overseas. Their meteoric rise to stardom was due to releasing hit single after hit single, including classics such as Friday On My Mind, Wedding Ring, She's So Fine and Good Times. Their success saw them consistently get mobbed at airports, chased down streets and tour internationally with the Rolling Stones.
A year in the making, EasyFever sees the 'who's who' of contemporary Australian music come together to pay tribute to our most popular and successful band of the 60's, and pay homage to the band who carved the stone in the Australian musical landscape. From Jimmy Barnes to Ben Lee, from The Veronicas to Grinspoon, The Living End to Old Man River, these artists have all recorded their unique interpretation of these enduring songs from The Easybeats and Stevie Wright's majestic musical career. As well as this disc of today's hottest local bands tipping their hats to The Easybeats, there is also a second disc of all the original tracks.

"Recording music for children is an amazing and fun experience," Schneider explains. "It forces me to be extra creative because you are writing for an extra creative audience. Kids' ears are very tuned in to unusual sounds, so I threw many of my regular instruments out the window in order to come up with a whole new palette of colorful noises and wanted to make super-pop music that kids will like to sing along with."
