But first he gives us this introduction, "I don't like revealing TOO much about my songs, because I like people to interpret them their own way, but I think I can give you my overall inspiration without spoiling it for others" Now here is Jason with today's song:
"The Origin of Suffering": I wanted to portray a man at the end of his life, looking back and giving his commentary on the world. I also purposely didn't have any choruses repeat, so that I could tell more of the story. In Buddhism it is a belief that we are all in an endless cycle of suffering, and I wanted to convey that feeling in this song.

As first reported by Billboard, the set will be a Best Buy exclusive and will be available Sunday, Nov. 23, rather than the usual Tuesday.
Beyond enticing pre-Thanksgiving shoppers, the move is tied to the structure of Best Buy's sales week, which runs from Sunday to Saturday. As such, "Chinese Democracy" would not be eligible to chart on The Billboard 200 until the week of Dec. 1, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

We recently told you about Boston musician Bart Steele who wrote a theme song for his home town baseball team, The Boston Red Sox, which he believed was later rewritten by Bon Jovi (see story). Steele filed a Federal lawsuit Thursday in the Massachusetts District Court's Boston Office against the veteran rockers and a host of other defendants.
The basic claim (that we could make out) in the lawsuit revolves around a song Steele wrote in September in 2004. In the suit Steele's composition is described as a "love song for his beloved Red Sox and a baseball playoff anthem fans could sing along with. He titled his song '(Man I Really) Love this Team', also known as 'Man I Love this Team.'" Steele says that through local airplay and public performances the song became well known by fans of the team as well as members of the team and their organization.
Steele claims that Bon Jovi recorded a promotional track for Major League Baseball called "I Love This Town" which Steele contends is a "unauthorized derivative version" of his song. Three years after Steele's song was first released to the public, the Bon Jovi track began to appear in on-air promotions for Major League Baseball and the song was also included on the rock group's 2007 CD "Lost Highway".

Satch: Yeah I guess I'd have to say I'm surprised at how people are jumping all over this thing but I guess I shouldn't be. We had spent some time playing together on stage and we really clicked as a band. Sammy and I have written 2 albums worth of material already and we will be heading into my studio to polish up the arrangements in a few days.
Needless to say it's a really high energy band as you can imagine; Sammy alone is a volcano ready to erupt at any time and Mike and Chad are always ready to jump in. It's been a fantastic few months for me on so many levels especially having a specific band to write music for, they are a bunch of talented guys who really just want to Rock Hard.
I know Sammy took some heat for a comment that was taken just a little to serious when he compared this band to Led Zeppelin. As a musician when your influenced by bands like Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix and you've played with bands like Van Halen and the Red Hot Chili Peppers it's interesting to see where you go when you step outside of that. This project is a musical release, its given us a uniquely creative outlet which has generated a combustible intensity that is very exciting. I'm looking forward to finally getting this thing down on tape as they say.
- So will we see a CD? How about a tour? Find out here!

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has written to its members telling them they could be subject to a fine if they accept work on the series.
The WGA refuses to work with the show's production company Fremantle over claims that it underpays staff. In a letter the WGA said: "Any members who perform writing services on that show do so at their own peril."

"That's the bad news... the good news is that our bros in Machine Head are rushing back to the States from Europe to step in on those two nights. And of course no show would be complete without The Sword kicking things off, so they'll be there too."
Lamb of God was previously banned from performing at the church-owned (then-named) Great Western Forum in April of 2005 on the Subliminal Verses tour with Slipknot because church leaders were offended by the group's previous name, Burn the Priest.

Joe Son's arrest has been all over newspapers in the O.C., but no one connected the dots -- that the suspect is actually Dr. Evil's henchman -- until now.
Here's how it all went down. Son pleaded guilty back in May to felony vandalism. The plea required him to fork over a DNA sample. Investigators ran his sample and found Son's DNA connected him to an unsolved gang rape back in 1990, in which a woman was pistol-whipped, raped, threatened with death and eventually blindfolded and released naked.
