According to MetalFromFinland.com, speaking with O Povo Online about the incident, keyboardist/founder Tuomas Holopainen issued the following statement:
"Anette freaked out because she couldn't handle the different mannerisms of the fans here. There were a lot of people screaming the former vocalist's name, making obscene gestures (with the middle finger). Normally she can shake that stuff off, she has good self-esteem, but it's been hard to deal with the fans and the critics. I guess it was a sudden breakdown"

"John [Paul Jones] sat in with us [Gov't Mule] at Bonnaroo and after seeing him at the Led Zeppelin concert in London, we spoke about him performing at the Christmas Jam and I'm thrilled he can make it," said Haynes.
Haynes recently joined Coheed & Cambria on stage during their "Neverender" concert series in New York on the classic "I Shall Be Released." The pairing went so well, Haynes invited the band to this year's Jam.

"Recording by myself, without the five-man democracy, was both liberating and utterly terrifying," says Block. "In the band setting, everyone puts their stamp on the songs." His bandmates, who have also created music outside of the confines of the band, are extremely supportive of his endeavors, including some contributions to the album on guitar by Ryan Newell, bass by Jett Beres, and backing vocals by Drew Copeland.
"It was interesting to work like this," Block says. "I was able to play with some unusual harmonies and take some interesting chances. And the sounds we chose to put around that give the music a different fingerprint than what you've come to expect from the band."

Reflecting his recent move from his long-time roost of Los Angeles to Austin, the new album was produced by Will Sexton and features such players as long-time guitarist Tony Gilkyson plus Austinites Eliza Gilkyson, Cindy Cashdollar, Rick Richards and Mark Hallman.
Living in Austin, Weeks says, has loosened up his musical approach, and that's reflected in Going My Way. Funky soul-infused songs ("Fine Way To Treat Me" and "I Think You Think") mingle with rootsy rockers ("A Lot To Talk About" and the title track, a colorful travelogue of old romances). "The One Who Wore My Ring" offers a slice of timeless honky tonk heartache, while "Little Bit of Sleep" is a big-beat folk-rock rant that Weeks describes as "a non-committal political commentary." He even includes some uplifting love songs here: the Willie Nelson-flavored "That's What I'd Do" and the L.A.-set "I Couldn't Make It." It all makes for his most diverse sounding disc, while still being a cohesive song collection.

The band will be hitting the road with fellow metallers This Or The Apocalypse and Woe of Tyrants. The tour will kick off November 29 in Oklahoma and wraps up in mid-December, with additional dates to be added!
Drummer Matt Thomas commented on the band's upcoming tour: "We are looking forward to getting back on the road, kicking some ass, making new friends and playing places we've not been to yet. Should be a great time getting out of this dump (Ohio) and heading down south for a few weeks to get the hell out of this cold ass weather!"
