"The person in that film is not Jimi from what I have heard," said Leon. "Yes, he had many female fans during that time and some may have been filmed. But this one is not Jimi Hendrix."
Experience Hendrix, the company that controls rights to Jimi Hendrix's music and likeness also questioned the tape's authenticity, stating, "We view the release as nothing more than a callous attempt to trade on the image and reputation of a deceased artist who is unable to defend himself against such an outrageous and baseless assertion."

We asked him about progress on the new Enuff Z'nuff album, "Lost in Vegas" and he let out some surprising details, "At the last moment we totally turned the whole Enuff Z'nuff record around and it's amazing. The reason it's been delayed is that I didn't want to put out another record that wasn't up to z'snuff. It started out with me having to tweak songs I wrote for my solo projects to fit the Z'nuff sound. But we tossed all of that out and wrote new ones in traditional Enuff Z'nuff form. It's in the process of being mixed. And a limited collectors edition will be available at Rocklahoma. We're also planning on filming that performance for a DVD."
Donnie has also been hard at work with his new band L.A. Smogg, a band he started with CJ Szuter (Szuters, Magna-Fi] so he could create music that doesn't have to conform to the Z'nuff sound. "I'm CJ's biggest fan. In Smogg he's the McCartney to my Lennon; we're sharing lead vocal duties and complementing each other perfectly. We also got our Ringo Bonham, he goes by the name of Vic Alfaro," he said.

"I want to help bring attention, awareness, and hopefully get some people thinking about what they can do to prevent diabetes, or how they can lend a hand to someone living with it" explains Thal. "I have been reaching out to musicians to form a group that hasn't ever played together before, something very special just for this one night. This is an important event, and it's a privilege to be able to participate."
Participants of the All Star Band, yet to be named, will be announced once they commit to the project. More information on the All Star Band, as well as current and any other lineup changes can be found at rockagainstdiabetes.org.

In the past year, country radio has played songs by the Eagles, Bon Jovi and Jewel. And before year's end, it likely will play a new single from Jessica Simpson. The latest artist to make the jump from pop to country is Darius Rucker, singer for Hootie & the Blowfish.
"Don't Think I Don't Think About It," the first single from his as-yet-unnamed solo album, is No. 47 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart after two weeks on the list. The regret-filled cut, which Rucker co-wrote with songwriter Clay Mills ("Beautiful Mess"), is garnering airplay on stations in Minneapolis, San Diego, San Antonio and Salt Lake City.
