Miley Cyrus, the 15-year-old heroine of the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," and the Jonas Brothers, a pop band comprised of three fresh-faced siblings, were the top draws at the Oscars for the pint-sized set. A-listers like Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz could only look on in bemusement.
Cyrus performed at the 90-minute ceremony, and picked up a pair of orange blimp statuettes for favorite female singer and television actress. The Jonas Brothers were named favorite music group.

Achin' For More Aiken CD Details? |
When Clay Aiken and his executive producer Jaymes Foster began the search for songs to record for Aiken's first album of original material since his 2003 debut Measure of A Man, they both fell in love with a song written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan "Alias" Tedder called "On My Way Here." The message of the lyrics how the lessons we learn while growing up shape us into who we become as adults struck such a deep chord with Aiken that it wound up inspiring the theme (and title) of his new collection.
"I thought if we could find songs along those lines, that deal with my life over the past five years and what I've learned from my experiences, it would be a great concept for an album," Aiken says. "Since I got into this business, I've learned so much about myself and about life and the world. I'm nowhere near an expert, but this album has taken on the form of addressing how far I've come in those five years and how I feel like I've found myself."

Of The First Born Son Lose Members But Still Plan Tour |
"We were disappointed that Curt and Mike decided to leave the band, but in the end it will benefit us as far as song writing for our next release goes. We just consider this a small bump in the road," says frontman Jamie Schoch. "It's always unfortunate to see people leave our family but we understand that not everyone is cut out for this business. We are dedicated, ready to continue with the tour and already have Hutton W. (ex-A Satellite Connecticut) and Paul Taylor (ex-Skylight Drama) filling in for us. Nothing will stop this band."

The Story of Glory Hope Mountain |
Glory Hope is a touching homage to the life story of Gloria Montoya Esperanza, as told by her son, Rolf Klausener. Quite the Mother's Day present! To keep with the theme, Rolf did a lot of research on Smithsonian recordings of 50s Honduran Folk Music and West Indian rhythms during the writing of this album. Based on interviews recorded in 2006 and recorded over 9 months, the sometimes haunting, sometimes exuberant tones of the album follow both hope and tragedy in Montoya's native Honduras - a mother dying in childbirth, flash floods, an abusive father - and an ultimately life-affirming move to Montreal in the 1970s.
Following their recent trip to Austin, the band will return to North America once again at the dates
