Lie- This song is about certain people who enjoy pulling others into their promises just long enough to break them for some sort of power trip. Its original title was "Sandcastle" and I'm sure it captures an experience familiar to pretty much everybody.
It started out as a really odd series of loops and samples. Producer John Travis set out to challenge us with some bizarre notions: in his British accent he said something like, "Take some influences that are so far out of your comfort zone that you don't think it will ever work. Then make it work." We went with something like Kanye West or in that vein, and we got these really danceable beats. We threw this sparse, ber metal guitar riff and some squelching bass hits over the verse, went four-on-the-floor disco metal in the chorus, and then threw in a spacey, oboe-laden bridge. It's really original. I love performing this one live; the crowd really goes apesh*t for the beats.

All "anti-constitutional propaganda" and specifically any attempt to propagate Nazism is illegal under article 86 of the German Penal Code. Article 86a also prohibits all "anti-constitutional" symbols, including all Nazi insignia, flags, slogans and salutes.
Speaking to the New York Waste web site, Lemmy stated about his Nazi collection, "I don't only collect Nazi stuff, I collect objects from all the 'axis countries.' Also from countries who aren't even mentioned anymore as former part of the axis. Like Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Hungary. OK, in the end, they all said, 'We're no Nazis' when they saw that the Germans were losing it. But five years before that, they went, 'Yeah!'"

Daniel Gelinas, head of the group managing the Quebec concerts, told reporters Tuesday that calculating three persons a square metre, and expanding the site, there will be room for 170,000 to 200,000 at the site of the McCartney show.
Using the same formula, 350,000 could squeeze into the site planned for Dion's show, but not all those places have a good view. So in addition to the 100,000 holders of free tickets who will have reserved places, he said another another 100,000 to 120,000 could see Dion's show. Dion's manager was reportedly "very, very happy" with the new arrangement. Meowwwwwwwwwwwww!

Rock's latest album "Rock N Roll Jesus" debuted at the top of the charts last October with first week sales of 172,000. Motley Crue's "Saints of Los Angeles" debuted on the charts last week at No. 4 with 99,000 copies sold, but the effort took a nose dive its second week in stores, dropping to down to No. 16 after a 69% sales decrease. Meanwhile, Rock's album went the other direction, jumping 5 spots up to No. 7 in the charts having sold 45,000 additional copies in its 39th week in stores. Tommy might want to hire a plumber, as Rock's career appears much further away from the drain than his own.
But who's on top? Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" returns to the top of The Billboard 200 this week, according to Billboard. The Cash Money/Universal album moved 156,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan
Meanwhile, Fiddy's G-Unit's new effort had a good sales week but sold less than a third of their previous release. According to E! "T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight)", the rap crew's first album in five years, managed only a No. 4 debut on sales of 102,000 copies. Comparing opening weeks, that's 275,000 fewer copies than 2003's "Beg for Mercy".
John Mayer scored the week's only other Top 10 debut, coming in at No. 5 after selling 75,000 copies of "Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles." While Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" dropped to No. 2 on 149,000; and the Camp Rock soundtrack stayed at No. 3, with 116,000.

Hayes mounted an audacious tour, quietly selling out London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall, that hearkened back to the likes of Pink Floyd's most outrageous stage production. This kaleidoscopic musical journey through time and space incorporates traditional folk music from around the world. The album blends haunting ancient melodies with newly-written Night lyrics inspired by nature and fantasy, partially recorded on renaissance-period instruments, and arranged with a contemporary dramatic flair that features the brilliant acoustic and electric guitar stylings of Blackmore. This cd is sure to transport you to a simpler, more magical time, away from the stresses of modern day life.
"With Blackmore's Night," says Blackmore, "we have the creative freedom to play any style of music we want. We can play folk, rock, ballads, instrumentals, or tavern songs. I couldn't do that in Deep Purple. Now I feel as if I'm not in a box anymore. "

As many fans know, Cinderella was forced to postpone their summer tour this year. Lynch Mob, along with Warrant, were supporting that tour and all the bands were to be on the Rocklahoma bill together.
When the tour was postponed, Lynch Mob drummer Tommy Aldridge answered the call for the drumming duties of Thin Lizzy which left him unavailable for this year's Rocklahoma. With the position open, it just seemed like a great fit for Fred and the band.
