Lifehouse Pro Bowl and Leno |
Tune in to Fox � Sunday, February 10th at 1:30pm HST to see the Halftime Show. In other Lifehouse news, the band will perform "Whatever It Takes" on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno February 15th.
The following week they will kick off a national headlining tour February 24th in Spokane, Washington. Matt Nathanson and honeyhoney will be opening for all dates.

Modest Mouse Working on New Material |
According to frontman Isaac Brock, the band, including former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, will go into the studio to write together in March.
Brock also told Rolling Stone that he is currently putting the finishing touches to a new Modest Mouse EP which will consist of outtakes from the band's previous two albums.

Kim Deal's band will hit the road in support of their forthcoming album 'Mountain Battles' following their April 25 performance at California's Coachella Festival.
The band will play dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Portland before heading east for dates in cities including Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC.

Kuusisto has issued the following statement: "It's with great sadness I must inform you all that I have decided to leave CF. I just feel that my time in CF has come to an end, and I really haven't anything more to offer to the band. It's been great working with the band over these 10 years and I wish the guys the best of luck in the future (Because they deserve it). For those of you that wonder. I will continue with my music carrier but with my other band This Human Design.

Beastie Boys And Moby for Music Has Power Benefit |
The band will play the Music Has Power benefit to raise funds for the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF) , a leader in innovative music therapy treatments and research.
The show will take place at Terminal 5 on March 4, and will be hosted by Moby who is a board member of the IMNF.

The Pretty Woman star, who died in 1988 aged 52, will lend his name to the Orectochilus Orbisonorum, a new species of Indian whirligig beetle.
Quentin Wheeler, Arizona State University entomologist announced the naming during a tribute concert for the star in the state last month (Jan08), saying the honour was "a token of admiration for Roy's work".

Although let's not forget that the Spanish word for 'twins' and the Spanish word for 'underwhelming singing voice' are very similar, so there's a good chance that David Lopez was merely providing a randomly-timed, somewhat harsh critique of Jennifer Lopez's performance style for the Spanish-speaking community.
