That idea is still something the band is "absolutely committed" to, but it likely won't happen until later in 2009.
"We talk about it constantly, and that's what we're going to do at the end of the world tour sometime next year," singer Rob Halford recently told FMQB. "At the back end of the summer, we're going to wind up the regular tour. Then we'll go straight into production for the Nostradamus show and we'll probably do a DVD to go along with that.

"As many of you may have noticed we had to drop off the last twelve dates of the BMTH tour. Karl [Schubach] became very ill, we took a few days off, he wasn't getting any better so there was not much more we could do.
"We apologize to everyone who had already purchased tickets, planned road trips, booked off work etc etc."

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), the nonprofit group that blacklisted the Web page, announced on Tuesday that it has reversed course on the matter, although it still believes the image is potentially illegal in the U.K. The image in question is of a naked and possibly underage female on the cover of a 1976 album from German rock group The Scorpions titled "Virgin Killer."
"In light of the length of time the image has existed and its wide availability, the decision has been taken to remove this webpage from our list," the IWF said in a statement. About 95% of U.K. ISPs, by Wikimedia's estimate, block Web pages based on IWF's list.

The band will be part of the Kerrang! Tour kicking off January 13th in Belfast, then will join Escape The Fate beginning February 5th in Pomona, CA and will play their first Vans Warped Tour this summer.

The dates kick off with a sold-out hometown show at New York City's Bowery Ballroom this Friday, December 12th. From there, the band will head west for a series of December shows.
The itinerary resumes at Philadelphia's Johnny Brenda's on January 21st, with dates then continuing through a Valentine's Day extravaganza at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on February 14th. On March 6th, The Virgins will hit Miami to join a stellar line-up � including Atlantic's own Death Cab for Cutie � at the annual Langerado Music Festival in Bicentennial Park.
