Noel Gallagher Plans Solo CD |
He told BBC Radio 1 that he wants to do a "separate" release from Oasis when the band's current mammoth tour is over towards the end of 2009. And Noel wants brother Liam to do the same.
"At the end of this tour, I'd like everybody to do something separately. I think it would be interesting for our fans. I also think because we've ended up with this album at a place where we were working to for the last five years. It's kind of like: What do we do next?'

After a whirlwind romance, the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas on January 9, 2004 and currently reside in California.

Jourgensen and Ministry just snagged a nomination in the Best Metal Performance category for the track "Under My Thumb" from their album "Cover Up," released April 1, 2008.
Indeed, the multi-platinum-selling Jourgensen, who put Ministry to bed this past fall with the band's "C U La TouR" global jaunt, was somewhat surprised by this Grammy nod. "I'm starting to feel like Michael Corleone in 'The Godfather,'" he mused. "'Every time I try and get out...they keep pulling me back in.'"

Glasvegas Set Releases and Late Night Appearances |
The 6 song mini-album, A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like A Kiss), was recorded in Transylvania in October 2008 and includes 5 new songs and a cover of Silent Night with the The Concentus Choir singing on the track (in English & Romanian) at St Nicholas Church in Brasov.
Glasvegas will embark on a mini-tour in support of their US release on the 4th of January starting in Boston and ending in LA. You can also catch the bands US television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman on January 5th, 2009 and a week later on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson which will air on January 15th. Love Grenades Mini Tour |
The appearances come on the heels of the band's successful month-long residency at The Echo in October. More Southern California dates and the band's first ever international show in Mexico City are also on the horizon.
Tigers in the Fire is set for wide release December 9 on Modus Vivendi Music but is currently available online, exclusively at Beatport.com. A video clip for song "Tigers in the Fire" is also planned for an imminent release.

Petrel Show The True Spirit of Christmas |
With that spirit in mind, the three sisters from Deer Park, Long island, NY who comprise the core of the band Petrel are venturing to Mexico on December 8th to help those in need. The band will be handing out scores of clothes and free toys to needy children at several Mexican villages and then will be performing a free charity concert for several hundred locals in the area.
This sort of work is what sets this group apart from other acts of their age and generation, and the cornerstone on which their legacy will be built. The music they make may last forever, but the charity work is what will make them timeless.
