More Naughty Miley Cyrus Photos Surface |
According to 2Snaps.tv the hacker, TrainReq, " was smart and didn't leak all the Miley Cyrus pictures he stole from her e-mail at once. He knows how to build anticipation and suspense." The blogger was excited at the prospect of more child softporn pix of the Disney star, "I am guessing since these latest Miley candids feature new and improve positions, including a never before seen butt shot, that there are even more and better ones to come. Hopefully this becomes a regular two-week, Monday morning kind of thing" The full 2Snaps post
Fox News reports: Someone needs to keep Miley Cyrus away from the cameras... at least the personal cameras anyway. The "Hannah Montana" sensation is embroiled in yet another photo scandal, with the latest photos showing the 15-year-old pulling up her shirt to reveal her stomach and white underpants. But that's not all: The latest round of racy pics also features Cyrus showing-off her lil' bod in an itsy-bitsy bikini.

Bon Jovi Accused of Ripping Off Song |
Boston Magazine recently ran a rather detailed feature story on the controversy, below are a few excepts hitting a few of the key points, followed by a link to read the full article. Before we get to that, listen and decide for yourself.Bon Jovi's song "I Love This Town" - Bart Steele's song "Man, I Really Love This Team".
Excerpts from the Boston Magazine feature: Bart Steele, struggling musician, former stockbroker, lifelong Red Sox fan, wanted a universal tune, one that reached well beyond Fenway Park. So, early in that September of 2004, he decided to distinguish his ditty from every other Sox tribute by giving it a Nashville sensibility and thus, he figured, even broader appeal.
When the Sox headed to St. Louis for the World Series, Channel 7 invited the duo (Bart and friend Peter Bellomo) to perform live. DJs at Boston Beer Works and the Cask 'n Flagon began encouraging regular "Man, I Really Love This Team" sing-alongs. Just after the Sox swept the Cardinals, Steele says, he found a clip on Major League Baseball's website of two polluted coeds slurring his chorus in the shadow of the Green Monster. Over at FenwayNation.com, where the song was available for free download, traffic had kicked up threefold to 180,000 daily visits. Like his Red Sox, Steele had made history.
But three seasons later, as the Sox muscled past the Angels and Indians to face the Rockies in the 2007 World Series, Steele couldn't bring himself to watch a single game. Instead, he stewed in his condo, plotting revenge against, of all people, Jon Bon Jovi. Unbelievably, blatantlycruellythe pretty rocker from Jersey had taken his song and repackaged it as his own. Steele was sure of it. Now he just had to get the world to see things his way.

Stoned Temple Pilot Falls Into Drum Kit During Show |
"The lengthy set opened with 'Big Empty' from 'The Crow' soundtrack. Dressed in a grey suit Weiland stumbled around the stage and fell into drummer Eric Kretz's drum kit which confirmed he is now officially the Amy Winehouse of rock 'n' roll. When he did sing he often forgot words or changed them. 'Conversations Kill' quickly became 'Masturbation Kill'.
"The singer's incoherent rants in between songs were cut off by his band members starting the next song to stop the bleeding. Guitarist Dean DeLeo and his brother bassist Robert DeLeo looked humiliated as they ripped through classics like 'Wicked Garden', 'Big Bang Baby' and 'Vasoline'."
Hoax Alert: AC/DC To Delay New Album and Tour |
We've passed on a few of this person's updates in the past as they seemed plausible and our contact at Sony didn't deny them. However, regular readers will remember that we also warned that the information came from a suspicious source (contrary to what a blogger claims, we never posted it a "official" news and always included the warning about its source). Now this person is spreading "news" that really stretches credibility, especially in light of the official announcement about the upcoming tour, so we thought we should warn you in case you read it as "real" news somewhere else. Here is what was sent to us today:
Due to the band's desire to start their new world tour not in 2009 but in 2010, on the 30th anniversary of "Back In Black" album, the new AC/DC album tentatively titled "Dirty Rhythm" will not be released until the end of the next year.Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd are extremely sorry for those disappointing news, but that was the decision they had to make. Be sure to check out acdc.com in a few days for more information regarding AC/DC's new album and world tour.
Why someone would feel the need to spread such rumors is anyone's guess but there you have it. We'll keep posted on real AC/DC developments as we know a lot of you are excited about the new album and tour!
- In the meantime, Blabbermouth has posted what are suggested to be clips from the new album. Check em out.

Velvet Revolver Close To Picking New Singer |
The new vocalist's identity may still be a closely guarded secret but McKagan explained: "We have a guy who we've been working with who's a really good singer and a great guy. I really hope he's the one.
"The question is, does he have that extra thing? It's just really hard to tell until you do a gig. There's a lot of expectation. In truth, he has to be killer to front Velvet Revolver. We're writing amazing material and I really think the new record will be the best thing that we've done as a band. So do we have the right singer to do that music justice?"

Metallica Release Dates |
Assuming that the band has yet to announce separate release dates for the different parts of the world (since physical CDs are virtually never released on the same day "worldwide"), the September 12 date in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (where albums are traditionally issued on Fridays) would indicate that the album would arrive in the U.S. on Tuesday, September 16, with most of continental Europe getting the CD one day earlier on September 15.
METALLICA's new CD will be available to download for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on the same day the album arrives in stores.Confused? Blabbermouth has some clarifications as well as the tracklisting and video footage

Great White Fire Victims May Get Settlements By Year's End |
Although some of the parties that lawyers consider most culpable have yet to enter into settlements, attorneys for those killed and injured as a result of the fire are anticipating that the civil lawsuits pending in U.S. District Court can be wrapped up during the next several months, without a trial. They've told clients that their "goal" is to distribute the proceeds by the end of December.
There are still claims against the State of Rhode Island and the Town of West Warwick that would need to be resolved before the victims' lawsuits can be terminated claims that, if settled, might require General Assembly and/or voter approval.
Hey It's Yet Another Entertainment Awards Announcement |
We're sure some awards are worthy of attention, yadda, yadda, yadda. It's just getting old. And an awards show that actually goes out and gets corporate sponsors for individual awards? That's worth just a little contempt. It's no wonder we have so few great albums to talk about these days. The suits have taken over and the real musicians are left behind because they didn't have the right haircut. Here is the announcement about another music awards that you can ignore:
The third Vodafone Live Music Awards will take place on 18th September at the Carling Academy Brixton, London and will bring together the music industry and fans alike to celebrate the booming UK live music scene.
