Interactive P.O.D.

PR reports: P.O.D., in collaboration with Columbia/INO Records and Xanga.com, will host a four-day interactive TV extravaganza on their website, starting Friday, April 4th. With a new album entitled When Angels and Serpents Dance slated for release on April 8th, P.O.D. and all parties involved are changing the way bands and fans interact with music, bringing a new business model into the music industry fold.

The P.O.D. All Access Video Tour creates a personal online experience as members of P.O.D. virtually "hang out" with fans all weekend, culminating in a live performance on Monday, April 7 from the band's hometown of San Diego. All online content is free of charge, except for Monday's online concert, which will only be available to fans who pre-ordered When Angels and Serpents Dance. - details

Bob Gruen Exhibit

PR reports: The Morrison Hotel Gallery is proud to present 'Rockers,' the largest-ever installation by one of the most respected photographers in rock & roll, Bob Gruen. Totaling some 280 photographs, many of them never before exhibited in the U.S. - from John Lennon [the famous photo of John in the NYC t-shirt] to John Lydon, Bob Dylan to Bob Marley - 'Rockers' opens April 24 at the Morrison's new 313 Bowery space, former home to CBGB's Gallery.

'Rockers' was originally presented in 2007 at the FAAP University Museum in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where it drew over 40,000 visitors. The Morrison has commissioned acclaimed architect Tito Ficarelli, who designed the 'Rockers' exhibit in Brazil, to transform the new 313 Bowery space as well.

Bob Gruen's work has shaped the iconography of rock & roll. A native New Yorker, he served as John Lennon and Yoko Ono's personal photographer in the 1970s, a position that would yield two of his best known, and best loved, images - of John Lennon wearing a New York City t-shirt, and flashing apeace sign while standing in front of the Statue of Liberty. - more on this story

Jay-Z and Beyonce Gettin Married?

CWD reports: Beyonce Knowles and her fiance Jay-Z have recently obtained a marriage license in New York. Sources assert that the two popstars are planning to marry in a private ceremony in New York City.

The 38-year-old rapper and the 26-year-old singer have been dating since 2002, and it is said that he proposed to her last May. Rumours about their romance began when she appeared on Jay-Z's song '03 Bonnie & Clyde.

They have also collaborated together on Beyonce's solo hit Crazy In Love in 2003.The marriage license is valid for 60 and by the news reported from various sources it seems that the marriage day is confirmed for today, but they really wanted it to be private. - more on this story

Emmanuel Jal Turns It Up for Darfur

HER reports: Former Sudanese child soldier turned international hip-hop artist EMMANUEL JAL will be part of "Turn It Up," mtvU's month-long "leaks" and music video premieres promotion to fight against the Darfur Genocide.

Launched in partnership with STAND, a Student Anti-Genocide Coalition, Jal will join artists including Death Cab for Cutie, Atmosphere, Tapes 'n Tapes, Dizzee Rascal, Tokyo Police Club, The Long Blondes and others, in an effort to help marry the power of great music with college students' activist spirit, to take action on one of the world's most pressing humanitarian crises. Jal's upcoming album, "Warchild," due out May 13, will be part of this promotion.

"War Child," the feature film documentary that tells the story of Jal's extraordinary life experiences, will screen at this year's Tribeca Film Festival held in New York later this month. A trailer from "War Child" can be viewed - here

Dancing With Jo Dee

PR reports: Country singer Jo Dee Messina and actor Joshua Morrow (CBS's "The Young and the Restless") have joined SECRET TALENTS OF THE STARS, the weekly celebrity talent show that will reveal the unknown talents of 16 well-known personalities, premiering LIVE, Tuesday, April 8 (10:00�11:00 PM, ET/tape delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Messina will train with choreographer Dave Scott ("Step Up") to perform an urban dance, blending hip hop and step, with a supporting troupe, while Morrow will train with extreme juggler Marcus Monroe to choreograph an edgy rock & roll juggling act, backed by a live band.

Never Enough Webcast

Emmure Preview

PR reports: Connecticut's Emmure have added the first track from their highly-anticipated new album The Respect Issue to their MySpace page. False Love In Real Life is available now on their re-designed page, taken from the new album to be released on May 13, 2008.

Emmure are currently slaying audiences on their first European tour with Misery Signals, and will return to the US to make an appearance at New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, followed by their 51-date headlining tour from April 26th with labelmates Red I Flight.

Radiohead Hits Varieties

Filter reports: Like previously reported, EMI is set to release a Radiohead greatest hits package to coincide with the band's upcoming spring tour.

Unlike the discography box set, The Best Of will be available in multiple formats to allow for maximum money making potential.

A single disc version (containing 16 tracks), a double disc version (containing the first CD plus a second 13 track CD) and a 4xLP limited edition box set (containing both CDs and four vinyls) will be available overseas on June 2nd, with no US release date at the present time. - tracklistings

Kayos reports: Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Sweden Rocks by Ted Nugent on CD May 13. The concert was captured at the 2006 Sweden Rock Festival, featuring the singer/songwriter/guitarist with drummer Mick Brown and bassist Barry Sparks. A DVD of the show will be released June 10.
