Nas Says You a ------ Too |
"I have a song called 'The Fear,' " he said. "The full title of the record is 'The Fear of the Black Man's D---.' That's some sh-- you can get comedy [from], or you can get some seriousness from it when you talk about the barbaric castrations that happened in our past; which is very serious, nothing to laugh at."
"It's not an attack on white people at all," he promised, regarding the record's content. "It's knowledge; it's understanding for all people. It's not an attack on any race. It's about the attacks that have happened to blacks, whites, all ethnicities: 'mick' ------s, 'guinea' ------s, 'kike' ------s. I have a song called 'You a ------ Too.' "

More Information About Kevin DuBrow's Death |
On Sunday, while I was working I got a phone call from Kevin's home security company. It was at about 3:15 in the afternoon. I am the only one who gets a call when ever his alarm goes off and usually I go to his house and let the guards in to check things out. However, Kevin had had his front doors replaced a few weeks ago and I did not yet have a key so I told them to send the guards and if there was a problem I would go there and take care of it. They also told me that Kevin's voice mail was full. That was the first sign of trouble to me. I got on the phone to Frankie in LA and asked if Kevin was with him. He said no and that he hadn't talked to Kevin in about 10 days. He said he thought Kevin was with one of his girlfriends. From there, I started to track her down. I have never met her and only after Frankie gave me her name was I able to find her which was relativity easy. By now about 10 minutes had passed. She said that Kevin had missed Thanksgiving with her (one of 2 girls he was supposed to have thanksgiving with. Well, he IS Kevin) She said she had gone to his house and left him many messages without response and that she had a very bad feeling about this. Right then, my other phone rang. I have 3 phones in my house and little did I know soon all 3 would be ringing nonstop. I put the phone down on the table with girlfriend #2 still on the line and it was Frankie on the phone. He told me what had happened. I lost all composure at that point and told FB I would call him back. Now to the other phone where I had the unpleasant task of telling #2 the news. Needless to say she freaked. GF#1 was Lark Williams who was in San Fran at the time. She was worried about Kevin as well and she had called a paramedic friend of hers to go check on Kevin. The guy happened to be very close to his house. With Lark on the phone, the guy went to Kevin's and was looking into windows and told Lark he could see his keys on the counter. Lark told him to break in immediately. It was a very ballsy and good thing she did. The guy broke in (hence the call from the alarm co.) and found Kev. This all happened in about 20 minutes time. From there, police, fire, everybody was called. He was found in bed. I talked with a Detective who was there and they hadn't even removed Kevin yet. He said "We have found no signs of foul play and are ruling this an accidental death".

Axl's Home Damaged in Malibu Fire |
The rocker's roof was damaged in the blaze, but firefighters and Rose himself managed to push back the flames and prevent a full-on disaster. Rose's assistant, Beta Lebeis, insists the singer proved to be very useful with a hosepipe.
She says, "He was with the hose everywhere. Then the fire truck came... and they told us, 'Just close the garage doors and just go back in. There's nothing you can do.' "It was like an inferno outside."

The Squids Cancel American Flag Burning Tour |
Singer Stuart Fraser explained: We used a picture of an American flag and it said 'The Squids are coming to burn America'. We didn't think it was too offensive, just a bit rock 'n' roll. We were contacted by the venues, who said it was offensive and asked if we would take it down, but we said no. A few days later, all our shows were cancelled.
We're annoyed by what's happened. It was only a burning American flag. We didn't even know it was illegal to burn them. We just thought it was a bit of fun; we saw the picture and thought it would do. We wanted to show we were coming ...

Satyricon Injury |
"It is with deep regret we have to inform you that Frost broke his leg yesterday morning. As a result of this, our headlining performance at Arnhem Metal Meeting has been cancelled. It was a freak accident where he simply slipped on ice and snow covered surface, fell to the ground with his foot in a twisted position, and broke it. This was obviously very bad news given our scheduled show at Arnhem Metal Meeting this coming Saturday.
"However, with Frosts history of actually playing 10 shows in a row on our European Tour in 2003 with a broken foot, we were hoping he could pull this one off as well. Doctors said last night they wanted to keep him at the hospital over night for observation and we agreed on making a desicion as to whether he could do the show, today. Unfortunately we have been informed today that his brake is so complicated that it needs surgery which will take place shortly. They intend to keep him hospitalized for at least one week. Perhaps two.

Radiohead Bodysnatchers Webcast |
Thom Yorke said of the episodes, "This is Thumbs Down cause it's ... [holds thumbs down]... We're gonna play some music as we can still stand up. This is our way of celebrating the fact that we've finished a record. We're been doing some stupid stuff the past few weeks knocking some things together. Don't expect any high quality cause there isn't any."
The band can be seen performing the first single from the album, "Bodysnatchers,"

3 Inches Of Apology |
I have already issued lengthy and sincere apologies to those most directly affected, and while it is those folks' prerogative if they care to make those statements public, they were indeed only intended for their original recipients: Nigel Glockler, and the members and management of 3 Inches of Blood.
"Of course the band was embarrassed and did whatever damage control had to be done by expelling me, and to a certain degree the security guards that evening were also doing what they felt had to be done to contain an explosive situation, and for them I would hold no ill will. In fact, Nigel accepted my apology and correspondence with an astonishing degree of forgiveness and compassion, and I should be so lucky as to henceforth be able to refer to him as a friend, however backward the circumstances of our meeting.
