Graham Colton Week: Telescope |
Telescope: I really like this song because it has nice imagery. The idea of someone seeming close but actually is far away was intriguing to me. I remember writing it and not having the words for the verse written out. I told the engineer to just roll the tape and press record and the words kinda flowed out. I find I'm using that approach a lot lately in my songwriting.

Keys Snubs Her Own Event |
But her manager Jeanine MCLean says Keys had good reason to snub the event, because the trendy venue was "a mess". She tells New York gossip column PageSix, "She was going to go through, have a drink and celebrate as a favour to the club. But when she got there, there was no security and the crowd was rough. She sat there waiting for them to get it together for an hour."
However, a source tells the New York Post's gossip column PageSix that Keys didn't show because "she wasn't getting paid." A representative for Pacha says, "We had an ample security team onsite and had reserved an entire area for her."

KISS Thinks Downloaders Should Be Sued Off The Face of the Earth |
"There is nothing in me that wants to go in there and do new music. How are you going to deliver it? How are you going to get paid for it if people can just get it for free?
"The record industry doesn't have a f*cking clue how to make money. It's only their fault for letting foxes get into the henhouse and then wondering why there's no eggs or chickens. Every little college kid, every freshly-scrubbed little kid's face should have been sued off the face of the earth. They should have taken their houses and cars and nipped it right there in the beginning. Those kids are putting 100,000 to a million people out of work."
