Graham Colton Week: Cellophane Girl |
Cellophane Girl: I wrote this song in my bedroom when I was 17 years old. It was one of the first songs I ever wrote and recorded to my four track recorder. The song began floating around on the internet and became a fan favorite at every one of my shows. I knew I had to re-record it and release it on the is album because it really hit home to what I was going through... even years later.

Boy George Kidnap Arrest |
On April 28th Boy George, real name George O'Dowd, reportedly invited a male escort to his home and chaining the man to a wall. George was charged this week with the crime and released on bail, scheduled to appear in court on November 22nd.
George reportedly went online to the gay dating website Gaydar and invited Auden Carlsen, the 28-year-old male escort to his apartment in Shoreditch, east London, for a midnight photo shoot for George's fashion boutique. However, things took a strange twist when Auden was left "handcuffed to a hook on the wall shortly after George returned to the flat after nipping out at 5am to buy a pint of milk," according to the Scotsman. Apparently Auden didn't like George's version of hanging out and went to authorities.
Page Hints At More Zeppelin Shows |
Page, frontman Robert Plant and John Paul Jones will reunite for the Ahmet Ertegun education fund benefit show at The O2 in London on December 10th. Led Zeppelin's late drummer John Bonham's son Jason will play in his father's place. Ertegun is the late president of Atlantic Records who signed Led Zeppelin.
Those can't make the London show have a small glimmer of hope that more shows might be in the works. Page addressed the issue in the new issue of Guitar World which comes out next week. "It's a bit silly (for only one date) because there is such a massive demand. It is a bit selfish to do just one show. If that is it we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle," Page told the magazine.
Fans Sue Hannah Montana |
Billboard has the report: Thousands of "Hannah Montana" fans who couldn't get concert tickets are suing the teen performer's fan club over memberships they claim were supposed to give them priority for seats.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a New Jersey woman and anyone else who joined the Miley Cyrus Fan Club based on its promise that joining would make it easier to get concert tickets from the teen star's Web site.

Radiohead Snub Beatle |
Paul McCartney has revealed that Thom Yorke turned him down when he asked him to collaborate on his latest album.
In an interview for T4 he said "My daughter was putting an album together and she put us in touch. I asked Thom to do a duet, but he said he couldn't because he only felt happy working on his own and Radiohead's material."
Quicks: Gene Simmons Writing Hooker Book- Motley Thru with Tommy or Not?- Almost Acoustic Bands |
The state of confusion in the Motley camp is up a bit at the moment with the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Nikki says Tommy is history and Vince says that's not true. Sixx told the London Paper recently: "He's out of the band, that's just the way it is. Tommy Lee kept f**king around and I said, 'You know what dude, you've got to knock it off'. He said, 'I f**king quit.' I said, 'fine. I still love you but I don't have time for this'."
Vince Neil told MTV Canada an entirely different story: "Well, see what happens is, there's a press release saying that Tommy was out of the band and everybody jumped on that. But when Tommy issued his own press release saying that 'no', nobody paid attention to him. So, he was never out of the band and actually I just talked to him yesterday and I talked to Nikki a couple of days ago and we're going to go into the studio in January and hopefully have a single out by March and a tour in June."
So Cal radio station KROQ's "Almost Acoustic" Christmas is set to take place on Dec 8th and 9th at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles and will include sets from Linkin Park, Angels & Airwaves, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion, Paramore, Rise Against and Serj Tankian.

Razorlight Release US Digital EP |
To those observing Razorlight today, the seemingly swift journey from London bar-band to UK cultural phenomenon has been a miraculous ascendance. For the band, according to the dream script they wrote four years ago in a run down rehearsal room in East London, this was precisely the plan. Late 2005: Razorlight hit the ground in London, with legendary producer Chris Thomas (The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, The Pretenders, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music), stockpiling songs for the follow up to their inaugural, critically acclaimed and UK chart-topping album,' Up All Night.'
This self-titled, 'Razorlight,' has enjoyed massive successes, starting with a #1 UK chart position. The first single, 'In The Morning,' #2 on the singles charts. Next up: 'America:' another monster hit - topping the single charts, taking on all comers at radio, and holding the #1 UK airplay slot for weeks. Razorlight have established UK dominance: on the charts, over the airwaves, and on the ground as festival headliners. "Before I Fall To Pieces" continues the story, as, undoubtedly, will 'Hold On.' Razorlight have quickly, but indelibly, proven to be more than just a one hit wonder.

Ozzy's Secret Pop Album |
Zombie first met the former Black Sabbath singer in the mid 1990s, and he wasn't expecting Osbourne to invite him back to his Los Angeles home - and play him an uncharacteristic pop album.
Zombie says, "You know, I'd always loved Ozzy, loved Black Sabbath, and it was just me and Ozzy in his house and he played me this entire album he had made with (producer/songwriter) Mark Hudson that was very Beatles-sounding. It's never been released, but it was fantastic."

EMI Scam Fans? |
The advert - which read, 'Radiohead - New Album 'Rainbow' now available as boxset' had been appearing in the paid-for advertising section of Google when anyone searched for the band.
Despite it's phrasing, the link did not lead the user to a website for the special discbox version of the band's new album, 'In Rainbows.' It instead opened a website where EMI offshoot Parlophone was selling a forthcoming box-set of the band's previous seven albums.
- You gotta read their excuse for this.
