Bon Jovi Book New Zealand Show |
Over the past decade, die hard Bon Jovi fans in New Zealand have been resigned to travelling overseas to see the band known for hits such as 'Livin' On A Prayer' and 'You Give Love A Bad Name'.
A website petition has more recently been circulating requesting a full Bon Jovi tour for Australia and New Zealand. The group - which has sold more than 120 million albums and played 2500 concerts in more than 50 countries - yesterday announced it will be stopping over in New Zealand to play a one-off concert at Christchurch's AMI Stadium on January 27. [a good sign for the fan club members angry at changes they see as rip-offs in the club, the band apparently do respond to petitions. While the fan that started a petition against the fanclub recently backed down once word actually got out about it, it's now up to an enterprising fan to start a new one. We'll help spread the word! - now visit the following link for

Bang Tango Vocalist Joins Adler's Appetite |
The band will head to Europe later this month, kicking off in Peterborough, England on Nov 21st and hitting Ireland, Spain, Italy and Norway. Aside from Adler and LeSte, the band will include Kristy Majors(Pretty Boy Floyd), Chip Z'nuff (Enuff Z'nuff) and Michael Thomas (we believe of Bang Tango/Pretty Boy Floyd fame).
Hopefully this European outing will go smoother than the one in 2006. In January of last year, Adler had a bit of a meltdown a few shows into the tour and decided to fire the entire band. It looks like the fences were mended as Thomas and Z'nuff were part of that lineup.

The Acacia Strain Add Unholy Guitarist |
The Acacia Strain will depart for a headlining tour later this fall with support coming from Despised Icon, Full Blown Chaos and The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
"I couldn't be happier with our decision," comments The Acacia Strain frontman Vincent Bennett. In my eyes, J.D. is the ideal choice. Everyone is really excited to have him on board and we can't wait to see what he has to offer this band. We're wicked excited for this tour. I've wanted to tour with all of these bands forever, and we finally are. We are going to be playing some songs that we haven't played in forever or haven't been able to play due to the lack of a second guitar and will be showcasing a new song or two.
