The Last Kind Words From Devildriver
PR reports: DevilDriver has toiled endlessly to create a metallic masterpiece, partnering up with producer Jason Suecof (Trivum, God Forbid, Chimaira) to hone in on the essence of the band's growing brutality. Marking their third Roadrunner release, The Last Kind Words focuses on structures and arrangement, painting a sinister yet palatable picture. DevilDriver are currently on the road with black-metal titans, Dimmu Borgir, Unearth and Kataklysm until May 29th, winning over audiences with brooding tenacity. DevilDriver will then launch a month long European tour on June 1st and will also be attending the Metal Hammer awards in London on June 11th.

The Last Kind Words is set for release on July 31, 2007 and features 11 tracks of annihilating progression. "We wanted to do something that was different than we did on the first two records, and would stand out," frontman Dez Fafara declares. The Last Kind Words stands out and above, capturing DevilDriver's unique fusion. The forthcoming album was mixed by famed producer, Andy Sneap (Opeth, Exodus, As I Lay Dying, Megadeth), at Backstage Recording Studios in England. The band is also slated to film a music video for their first single, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost." [see full story for tracklisting]- Click Here for the Full Story

Sean Na Na Sets Release
PR reports: Sean Na Na is the guitar pop project of Sean Tillmann (a.k.a. Har Mar Superstar). It started as a solo outlet for Sean's songs that didn't quite fit with his noise band Calvin Krime in 1998. Since then, the project evolved into a full band with a rotating cast of characters from all over the musical map. The masses really started to take notice when Mary Lou Lord and Sean teamed up on a split EP for Kill Rock Stars in 2000. "Family Trees: Or CoPe We Must" is the third full-length outing of the band. The title of the album reflects the familial nature of Sean Na Na's group of friends. FYI: the title is also a blatant drug reference. CoPe We Must is actually short for Coke-Peppered Weed Mustache. Childish? Yes. Radical? Indeed.

"Family Trees or- Must CoPe We" will be released on June 5th- Click Here for the Full Story

10cc Member Reunite, Offer New Music
PR reports: For the first time in over three decades original 10cc members, Kevin Godley and Graham Gouldman, have reunited to record new music. Best known for such classic 10cc hits as "Rubber Bullets", "I'm Not In Love" and "Things We Do For Love", as well as Godley and Creme's mega-hit "Cry", Godley and Gouldman have recorded five new songs available for download on their official website www.ggo6.co.uk

The five new Godley and Gouldman songs are as followed:
1) "The Same Road " - A burned-out, homesick, American executive, snarled up in traffic on the Westway, fantasizes about finding a soul mate in a pressurized, loveless world.
2) "Johnny Hurts" - In a dark hotel room, late at night, a man tries to comfort his best friend's new wife as a disastrous wedding party winds down in the bar.
3) "Beautifulloser.com" - A rich man recalls, with regret, his lost youth and his part in an extraordinary woman's downfall.
4) "Hooligan Crane " - Years after the event a victim of school bullying meets his vicious tormentor. Old wounds re-open. For the victim nothing's changed. For the bully everything has.
5) "Son Of Man" - Hotlegs morph, noisily, into 10cc via self -medicating, mutant primate and northern work ethic. (This is part one of "The Son Of Man Diaries", a sporadic, mostly audio but occasionally visual look at Godley and Gouldman's collective history).- Click Here for the Full Story
