Mitch
Easter's Dynamico |
PR reports: For the past two decades since
disbanding his much lauded new wave band, Let's Active, Mitch Easter has
been keeping himself busy at his famed Fidelitorium studio producing amazing
albums for bands from around the world. At times, Mitch would take some
time to himself to record his own songs, but was formulating no definite
plans to release them. Then it happened last fall, to the surprise and
jubilance of many, Mitch decided to take the 19 years worth of recordings
and put them to use. After a couple months of mixing and mastering, the
result is his long-awaited solo release, Dynamico (Electric Devil), a collection
of 14 magnificent pop songs rife with Mitch's signature guitar style and
crafty new wave aesthetics. While the songs evoke all the reasons you loved
Let's Active, they also serve to remind you that new wave is alive and
well in 2007.

and song streams. Mitch is now on tour, making stops on both coasts. -
