"We left joplin, Missouri late last night after a good time at The Foundry on our way to Iowa City. I was the lucky one who got the s*** shift (middle of the night driving shift of 250 miles) and everything was going steadily by the time I pulled over for gas about 160 miles down the road. As I exited the vehicle and began to walk towards the gas station I realized that the back door to our trailer was wide open...and yes, this meant that it had been open the whole time during the 160 mile drive. The result could have been worse...but still screwed us over royally. All of our stage lighting (dimmer switches, strobe lights, flood lights, extension chords, sweet old light box w/ vintage Doors and Zeppelin stickers on it.......gone....easily a $2000 value.) My 12 inch tom, 18 inch tom, cymbal bag, DW 9000 pedal.....gone - $2000 value. Everything else somehow managed to stay in the trailer during the long voyage...but the damage had been done.[see full story for more]
