Due to pressing personal health matters, I must sadly inform you that I will be taking a hiatus from touring with Kittie commencing immediately. With the complete and ongoing support from the band and management it is clear, as unfortunate it is, that these matters be addressed promptly. I want to thank everyone for the tremendous support over these past two years. It has been nothing but an amazing experience so far and this decision has been made to do what is best for everyone.
Sincerely
Trish Doan- Click Here for the Full Story

Havok started AFI with some high school friends, and the group has put out a steady stream of popular and critically acclaimed albums ever since, culminating in last year's release Decemberunderground. Havok says that going vegan makes the world a better place for animals and humans. "I certainly would encourage anyone to explore a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle .... I think we must begin with the betterment of humanity, which would then naturally result in compassion for animals."

Costa is perhaps best known for her radio
hits "Everybody Got Their Something" and "Like A Feather." She is no stranger
to the music business as she's the daughter of famed arranger/producer
Don Costa (Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, Dinah Washington, Tony Bennett) and
the goddaughter of the late Frank Sinatra. Her dynamic, sultry and soulful
vocals make her a highly regarded and relevant musician. Currently, Costa
has recorded a song for a pending Cy Coleman tribute project which also
features tracks from Fiona Apple and Elvis Costello amongst others. In
addition Costa is writing and preparing to record her 3rd album due out
next year.

" A.i. is first and foremost a rock band," says drummer Zack Young, "but electronic drums and synthesizers are an integral part of our sound." Zack's setup consists of a traditional rock drumset mixed with electronic triggers which allow him to perform live. "We play everything in the moment without using sequencers or backing tracks. That's one of the things that has always made A.i. special."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Freed from such obligations, Reel Big Fish is finally releasing its first independent studio album since leaving its former label. The self-produced Monkeys For Nothin' And The Chimps For Free finds the members of Reel Big Fish doing things their way. In fact, it features material done their way, from quite a long ways back. "We decided we were going to do a B-sides and rarities thing, but we didn't have anything to release, so we were going to re-record some things that we were going to call B-sides and rarities," explains Barrett. "But then we realized that most of that stuff no one had ever heard, so it wasn't really B-sides and rarities, it was just new songs. But those weren't good enough, so we wrote some new songs that were actually new, and suddenly we're making a new album."
Monkeys For Nothin and the Chimps For Free Hits stores on 7/10. See the band on the road with Less Than Jake[see full story for dates]- Click Here for the Full Story
