FOB`s response is as follows: In regards to the situation with Hot Topic, there was an issue with them and our record distributor. HT unfortunately will not be carrying our record on release day. Cephalic Carnage Recording
Relapse reports: Cephalic Carnage have entered the studio to record their as-yet-untitled new full-length album, the follow-up to 2005's stellar Anomalies in the band's own studio with long time producer/engineer Dave Otero.

Cephalic's Zac Joe recently gave this update: "We've started work on our 5th studio album and even though Colorado was hit with three of the worst blizzards in its history, which brought everything to a stand still, John has completed the drum tracks and we are neck deep into the guitars. I can say without a doubt say that John has pushed himself harder and out-performed anything I've ever heard from him, and that's saying a lot. As for the rest of the music, it gives me that excited naughty little feeling in the pit of my stomach that can only be compared to the first time you make out with your best friends girl." The band will have the recording wrapped up by early Spring for a May 2007 release.- Click Here for the Full Story

[see full story link] Rock & roll triumphs are rare. But by nicking choice elements from the genre's checkered past and fusing it with raw power and sexual energy, Ligion's invigorating Maple Jam/Bellum Records debut is just that. Spitting out a vital, dexterous eleven-song cycle that runs the gamut from infectious, rock radio gems to pensive, Zippo lighter-ready epics, Ligion has the potential to gather the masses. Crafted with the help of veteran rock producer Greg Ladanyi, this Nashville-based five piece fills a void as it resets expectations of what a modern rock album can be with 2007's fiery entry External Affairs.- Click Here for the Full Story
