The New Voice of Candlemass
SMN reports: CANDLEMASS have posted the following update: "After months of auditions it is now official who replaces Messiah Marcolin in CANDLEMASS. Robert Lowe, well known for his work with SOLITUDA AETURNUS, is the man who killed all the competition and showed that he beyond doubt is the most capable man for the job. A worthy successor!!

Robert will still be fronting SA, but since there's a whole ocean between the bands, we/CANDLEMASS, feel that this is a great solution that is very beneficial for everybody.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Jodi Jett Soph
PR reports: Alt-country performer and songwriter Jodi Jett will be releasing her second record later this year. Jett has already recorded two songs that she plans to release as singles this Spring. The record will be co-produced and mixed by Phil Palazzolo (Neko Case, The New Pornographers, Radio 4) and mastered by Tom Hutten for Bionic Mastering.
"I'm not taking myself so seriously with this album, says Jett. I've been listening to a lot of Magnetic Fields and Tom Waits, so I expect those influences to be noticeable on the record. Magnetic Fields especially inspire lots of obnoxious silliness with songs like the first single Pocket Rocket. As with her debut album Revelations, Jett will also independently release her second record. Further specifics will be announced at a later date.

Tara mounted then gyrated on Akon as he pretended to pump her all around the stage. One of his mohawked band members decided to get in on the action, and the two bounced Tara around between them. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
