Rock Vs Tommy Lee Almost |
celebrityweek.com reports: With both Pam Anderson
and Kid Rock in Las Vegas to ring in '07 at competing New Years Eve parties,

no one figured Kid would fly into a "jealous rage" and start banging on
Tommy Lee's door at the Hard Rock Hotel at 6 am on New Year's Eve - only
to discover it wasn't Lee's door after all! Hotel rep Spencer Villasenor
tells one Sin City newspaper the white trash rocker (Kid, not Lee) showed
up "looking to settle a dispute over ex-wife Pamela Anderson." [see full

Busta
Rhymes Employee Smackdown |
hecklerspray reports: Eddie Hatchett, one
of Busta Rhymes' drivers, claims that a December 26 visit to the rapper's
office to get 19 days worth of unpaid invoices ended up with him on the
sticky end of a Busta Rhymes smackdown, and now police are thought to be
planning to charge Busta Rhymes with assault. As yet Busta Rhymes hasn't
given his version of events, but our state-of-the-art computer prediction
unit has calculated that any statement Rhymes gives will be said too fast
to properly understand, except for the word "flipmode" which Busta Rhymes
will shout 972 times within the space of 20 seconds.[see full story for

Pearl
Jam Wins Online Poll |
Submitted News reports: Pearl Jam wins "Best
Rock Band of the Year" and "Greatest Rock Band of All-Time" in RockinTown.com's
annual poll. In addition, Pearl Jam's debut album "Ten" is named the "Best
Rock Album of All-Time."
For the first time, RockinTown.com asked
rock music fans to select the "Best Rock Band of the Year." To be eligible,
a group had to release an album of original material between October 2005
and December 2006. This was the most contested category in the RockinTown
polling with 40,000 votes cast. Thirty-five groups were nominated. Evanescence
and My Chemical Romance traded the lead before Pearl Jam took control in
December finishing with just under 10% of the vote. "It was Pearl Jam's
hard rock verses the emo leanings of Evanescence and My Chemical Romance,"
said Ian Lord, RockinTown's managing editor. "Pearl Jam fans were on a
mission."[see full story for more]- Click

Britney's
Drunken New Year? |
celebrityweek.com reports: After rolling into
town on a "party bus" from Scottsdale Arizona, where media reports were
hinting at a possible romance with NFL star Matt Leinert, Britney Spears
kicked off 2007 at Pure nightclub, popping the cork on a $5,000 magnum
of Dom Perignon just after midnight. Perhaps that's where things took a
bad turn. Just before 1:00 am, the former pop princess .. was reportedly
"carried" out of the Caesars Palace hotspot by security guards. Thank God
she was wearing panties! And so we begin our new year with reps for the
newly single mom in full damage control mode (when aren't they?), diffusing
reports that Spears was so hammered that she couldn't complete the hosting
duties she was reportedly paid $300,000 for. "She was just tired and falling
asleep," manager Larry Rudolph insisted on Monday morning. [see full story

K-Fed
Beats Wrestling Champ |
earvolution.com reports: After a roller-coaster
2006, Kevin "Don't Call Me K-Fed" Federline started off 2007 on a high
note, defeating WWE Champion John Cena in Miami, Florida before a crowd
that included Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal. Reminiscent of Andy Kaufman's
legendary match against Memphis wrestling legend Jerry Lawler, Federline
sought to expand his "entertainment" credentials beyond rapping, dancing
and freeloading. After his stalling tactics served only to irritate the
champ, America's Most Hated received help from WWE Superstars Johnny Nitro
and Umaga and got the pin after the Samoan Bulldozer knocked Cena unconscious
with the WWE belt.[he can't even do this on his own... see full story for
