Faith
Hill Robbed |
E! reports: Faith Hill and Tim McGraw's latest
duet involves filling out a police report. The country superstars fell
victim to a burglary over the weekend when their Los Angeles home was broken
into and an unknown amount of money was stolen.
The home, located in a gated community
in the Hollywood Hills, is listed in Hill's name and is not the Nashville-dwelling
couple's primary residence, according to her publicist, Paul Freundlich.

Idol? |
TMZ reports: Courtney Love on "American Idol"
-- intriguing. Michael Jackson on "Idol" -- shocking! It could happen,
though, if certain hints dropped by "Idol" producers are to be believed.
Realitytvmagazine.com reports that "several signs" point to the possibility
that Michael Jackson will have his own "Idol" theme-week, and might even
"mentor" the impressionable young talent on the show.
Why all the Jackson buzz? First of all,
"Idol" producers have hinted for weeks at a "big event show" during this
season. Also, reports have swirled that Jackson has turned to "Idol" creator
Simon Fuller to help revive his flagging career, perhaps involving a comeback
show in Las Vegas.

Ice The New Taxman |
TMZ reports: So, what rhymes with "1099" and
"itemized deductions?" We know who would know -- Vanilla Ice, of course.
Vanilla who?
Those crazy tax software pros at Intuit
have gotten the most infamously un-entertaining white boy of all -- Vanilla
Ice -- to shill for them during tax season. In a gloriously nonsensical
(and possibly brilliant) promotion, the company recruited Vanilla (also
known as Rob Van Winkle) to help pimp its TurboTax software in a contest
they're calling The Tax Rap.[see full story for more]-

More Pop From Mandy Moore |
pr-inside reports: MANDY MOORE is desperate
to shed her image as a "throwaway" pop star - and insists she hates the
music she made as a youngster. The 22-year-old star, who is set to release
self-penned album WILD HOPE later this year (07), made her name with pop
hit CANDY in 1999, but Moore is adamant she has moved on from her teenage
songstress days, and is now happy to concentrate on her fledgling film
career.
She says, "Not to sound bad, but I don't
necessarily have to make a record. No one's out there desperately waiting
for my next album... So I have to do the music my way. It means too much
to me. I can't just go into the studio and make a crappy pop record to
please somebody else. Why bother?"
