Blackmore's Night Headlining MagiQuest's 2007 HallowFest
PR reports: MagiQuest, a live-action interactive adventure game, will host Blackmore's Night, a popular folk/rock band with renaissance overtones, in concert on Saturday, October 27 at 9:30 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. 

The Blackmore's Night concert will serve as the headlining event for MagiQuest's 2007 HallowFest weekend � three days of Halloween themed events that include an evening masquerade ball, a private charity-based signing with Princess Candice Night, a Halloween family festival and costume contest.

Blackmore's Night, comprised of legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award-winning singer songwriter Candice Night, is known around the world for their powerful lyrics and melodic tunes such as "Under a Violet Moon", "Faerie Queen" and "Fires at Midnight". Blackmore's Night's Myrtle Beach concert will be the last stop on their United States tour. - more on this story

New Blood For Voodoo Jets
PR reports: Connecticut's The Voodoo Jets gaining notoriety with critical acclaim for their debut CD, SUPERSONIC, has announced the addition of bassist Clint Amereno to their lineup. Band founder and keyboardist Micah Sheveloff will be taking over lead vocal duties from former bassist Francesco Perrouna. 

"I reached that point in the artistic process where I needed to sing my own melodies," Sheveloff reported. "I asked Fowler to come up with the most killer rhythm section for the next record, and he asked Clint to the party." 

Amereno has had experience playing numerous styles, both live and in the studio. His first band opened in support of such acts as Fear Factory and Fuel before he signed on to tour with 12 Stones, headlining the "See Spot Rock Tour", and then going on to co-headline with 3 Days Grace and Tantric. - more on this story

The Last Goodnight Team With Idol for Tour
PR reports: Connecticut buzz band, The Last Goodnight, have just announced a fall tour with American Idol's Elliot Yamin. The band will release their debut album, Poison Kiss, through Virgin Records on August 28. 

Their current tour opening for Rocco DeLuca & The Burden has been a triumphant run of shows where the band is winning over audiences nightly. "We poured our hearts and souls into making this album and love being out on the road playing the songs live," said frontman Kurtis John.

Ride Like a Rockstar with Mink

Bob Mould DVD Promo Tour
PR reports: Bob Mould will be attending a series of special events in conjunction with the DVD release of Circle Of Friends on October 9th. At each event, Bob will play a short acoustic set (approx 30 min), participate in a live interview and/or Q + A (approx 30 min), host a DVD screening of Circle Of Friends, and sell and sign DVDs for fans.

The San Francisco date is part of the prestigious City Arts & Lectures series. It is being co-presented by the Noise Pop Festival. Bob will be interviewed by Michael Azerrad and play a few songs.- dates and more info on the DVD

Candlemass Anniversary DVD
BW&BK reports: Swedish doom legends Candlemass celebrated their 20th anniversary on March 31st, 2007 at Stockholm's Kolingsborg. The event was filmed and will be issued on DVD via Snapper/Peaceville in late fall this year.

Opeth Photos Wanted
PR reports: With the re-issue of three Opeth master-pieces, "Orchid", "Morningrise" and "My Arms, Your Hearse", Candlelight is looking for fans who took pictures of the band during those classic years. Send in any Opeth photos you have from the period of these albums (Orchid 1995, Morningrise 1996, My Arms, Your Hearse 1998) and they may be featured in the re-issue artwork! 

Fans whose pictures are used will be immortalized with a credit in the album artwork, and will also receive a free copy of the album - complete with their name in it!

Vader Shed Blood in Warsaw
PR reports: Vader announced the title of their forthcoming DVD release! The material entitled "...and blood was shed in Warsaw" will feature the band's fantastic concert at Stodola Club in February 2007! 

The DVD is scheduled for release in October 2007 via Metal Mind Productions and will be available in two editions: standard DVD and a limited DVD+CD swing case edition.
