Utah Has Dream Theater Day |
Playing inside the Beehive State for the first time since 2000, the group invaded the stage after a video montage that introduced more than 20 years of the band's history with both images and music.
Vocalist James LaBrie announced to the crowd that the band's meeting with Huntsman led to the designation of "DREAM THEATER day in Utah." He credited the governor with a fair knowledge of the type of music the band plays and assured the crowd that there wouldn't be such a long pause between visits to Utah.- more on this story

Prior to those shows the band will travel
the country making appearances at three festivals: Lollapalooza, V Fest
and Download Fest. The New York-based trio is currently out on the road
supporting the recently released Is Is EP, which is comprised of songs
written in 2004.

Sgt Jourgensen's Lonely Hearts Club Band |
At the specific request of Cheap Trick's Rick Nielson and Robin Zander, the Ministry guitarist/vocalist has re-arranged the song and made it "bent, in the Al Jourgensen way." Ministry/RevCo guitarist Sin Quirin will join Jourgensen and Cheap Trick onstage for the performance.
"'Sgt. Pepper's' is certainly one of the greatest pieces of art ever created, so to be asked to participate in this momentous occasion is a great honor," commented Jourgensen.- more on this story

Zeitkratzer premiered Metal Machine Music 'Live' at MaerMusic Haus Der Berliner, Festspiele, March 17, 2002. Lou Reed plays guitar on on track 3.
