SMN reports: DECREPIT BIRTH have posted the following update regarding their recent split with guitarist Mike Turner: We feel that now is the time to come out publicly and let everyone know what happened in the situation of our ex-guitarist Mike Turner. Here is a bulletin from our local TV news station KSBW news: "SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- A Soquel man has been arrested on charges of child molestation and sexual battery. 

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office officials said Michael Turner was arrested Friday and booked into the county jail with bail set at $450,000.

Bloc Party Cancelled

Gigwise reports: Bloc Party have been forced to cancel all of the remaining dates on their US tour with Panic! At The Disco due to Matt Tong's collapsed lung.

Buffett Vs Pirate

E! reports: It seems the leader of the Parrotheads doesn't like being parroted. Jimmy Buffett has filed a trademark infringement suit against a man who allegedly operates an online shop that sells Margaritaville-flavored merchandise without the singer's permission.

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Galveston, Texas, accuses Robert Akard of running the Website UnderOneHut.com, which sells some of the same clothing and CDs available through Buffett's own Website, margaritaville.com and in his chain of stores and restaurants.[see full story for more... at least now we know who made off with that lost shaker of salt]- Click Here for the Full Story

punkbands reports: The T4 Project (Bad Religion, Pennywise) have released their debut, a "story-based concept album." The project consists of more than a dozen musicians, and took more than two and a half years, seven studios and two continents to shape and contain the recording. The upcoming album will feature 10 tracks by the band, 8 "pseudo commercial interludes" featuring social and political commentary, as well as bonus materials like full color comic art and 15 hours of studio footage. blabbermouth.net reports: MORTIIS' long-out-of-print (previously released by Cold Meat Industry) albums "Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør" (1994) and "Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent" (1995) will be reissued in North America on January 9, 2007 by Projekt Records.
