Inches of Blood Tour |
antiMusic reports: 3 Inches of Blood will
unleash their Goatrider's Tour in July and are taking along Early Man and
Bad Wizard for the ride of metal darkness. The first lucky 13 dates have
been revealed and at press time it looks like the evil kicks off on July
6 in Sin Francisco.

antiMusic reports: If you got all excited
and broke out the spandex and hairspray when you saw an ad for Skid Row
concerts coming to your town, we have bad news. It's not the version of
the band that ruled MTV with "18 and Life," Youth Gone Wild," and you won't
be able to shout at Sebastian Bach "I remember you" from the crowd because
he won't be on this tour contrary to some online rumors. Baz set the record
straight via his official website with this message: "I am getting tired
of making this announcement but every time two-fifths of my old band does
some, shows they use my picture and voice to promote their bait-and-switch
'gigs', so I will say it again: I AM NOT IN THE BAND SKID ROW. I HAVE BEEN
SOLO SINCE 1996. I AM NOT PLAYING ANY CONCERTS WITH SKID ROW. I AM NOT
PLAYING THE STARLAND BALLROOM WITH SKID ROW. I AM NOT PLAYING THAT CLUB
IN INDIANA WITH SKID ROW THAT HAS AN AD IN THE NEWSPAPER NEXT TO MY PICTURE
THAT SAYS 'PAY $50 FOR A VIP TICKET TO MEET THE BAND!!!' Not only that
but ... SNAKE SABO IS NOT IN SKID ROW. ROB AFFUSO IS NOT IN SKID ROW. If
you go to see 'SKID ROW' in 2006, you are in fact going to see only two

some bad news. The good news is that Bon Jovi will retire. The bad news
is that it won't be for a while. Jon Bon Jovi claims that he doesn't want
be a Jurassic rocker in the style of the Rolling Stones. He told The Guardian,
"I won't be like the Stones. I don't anticipate being sixtysomething and
doing a lot of shows. You probably heard Keith fell out of a tree a few
days ago. I don't envision myself being like that." Bon Jovi will pack
up their guitars, he swears, "the minute that this is all nostalgia, that
it's the fat guys out there pulling up their tight jeans. Then I'm out.

the new Dillinger Escape Plan EP? The band has posted their cover of Soundgarden's
"Jesus Christ Pose" on their Myspace page. The track will be included on
'Plagiarism', the new EP released exclusively through iTunes on June 13th.
The band had the following to say about the cover on thier blog: "Pretty
self explanatory. Go check it out streaming in the player thingy. Soundgarden
man. I'm talking about glory days glass shattering Chris Cornell, not this
easy listening slop he's got going on now. Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, Chris
Cornell, Ben Shepherd.....whew! Remember that s***?! That time period was

PR reports: Beginning on Thursday, June 1st,
Yahoo! Music will host the video premiere of the new single, "Number 1,"
from Pharrell Williams, featuring Grammy Award winner Kanye West. As one
of the most successful and prolific music producers over the last decade,
Williams has been instrumental in helping A-List pop stars sell millions
of albums and earn numerous Grammy Awards, including Justin Timberlake,
Nelly and Usher. Now it's time for Williams to take center stage with his
new solo album, In My Mind, scheduled to be released on July 25th. As part
of his project, Williams teams with West for his newest single, as well
as Gwen Stefani and Jay-Z on other songs from the anticipated album release.

perfected by Shellac and the Jesus Lizard, YOUNG WIDOWS gladly wears influences

Evan Patterson (Black Cross, The National Acrobat) is at its peak here,
while the rhythm section of Nick Thieneman and Geoff Paton lays down syrup-thick
grooves, recalling Pacific Northwest heavyweights (think Melvins, Karp,
even Nirvana), and British post-punk, ala Gang Of Four. Settle Down City
