(antiMusic) Slash revealed on Camp Freddie Radio (hosted by Matt Sorum) that he just recorded some scoring for "The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift". He said it was the first time he has done scoring for a film and did about 50 different takes in the studio. He however did not write the music, the composer was Brian Tyler. He was able to watch parts of the film while recording and said that the movie will include one the coolest race scenes he's seen in distant memory. The film hits theatres on June 16th. However, Matt said they are doing one song with Dave Sardy (Wolfmother, Jet) and also said that unlike some reports that they were going more pop, "I think we're gonna be a little nastier sounding on this record hopefully." Slash added that everything's he heard so far was "awesome". They cleared up some of the producer rumors as well. On Lenny Kravitz rumor, they explaining that Duff had run into Lenny and the "Fly Away" rocker had offered to produce the new album.
