Michael's wife and manager, Angela Davis, reports this evening that Michael was riding his Harley Davidson on a Los Angeles freeway when he was unable to avoid a large muffler that dropped from a vehicle into his path. Michael was wearing his helmet and leather jacket, and is expected to recover, but he has suffered a fractured spine, bruised ribs, and several abrasions.
The planned DKT full-band performance at the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash in New York City on Friday, May 19th will be modified. What we know right now is that Wayne will perform with fellow musicians who are already confirmed for the night's show.
