Redding Exclusive |
antiMusic reports: antiMusic has teamed up
with Rock Ridge to launch the new self-titled CD from Redding. You know
we wouldn't lend our name to just any old band, it had to be something
extra cool and while the alt-pop stylings of Redding might not be the first
thing you would think of when you think antiMusic butwhen we heard the
songs it was a no brainer, we had to become involved! The CD comes out
July 11th but over the next couple months we'll be bringing you some exclusive
sneak peaks. To kick things off we have an exclusive video of the making
of the single "In Montauk". Check it out at the full story link. -

A few excerpts from the chat follow: HardcoreSounds: [Members of the music]
media have been asking the question [if] will SEPULTURA reunite with Max
Cavalera for this year's Ozzfest? Is this just a rumor or have you discussed
with the idea with Max?
Andreas: "It's a rumor, like many others.
Since he left the band we have been hearing different rumors and stuff.
It's not gonna happen at all. I mean, we have a new album and we are promoting
it. I know Max has [taking in] interviews [that he is open] to [the possibility
of a reunion]. But it's not the right time for us. But in the near future
it would be great just to play with each other again. Who knows?! Next

Receiving
End of Injury |
punkbands reports: Alex Bars, guitarist of
The Receiving End of Sirens was injured over the weekend in a fall. The
band had this to say: We are writing to bring you up to speed on an unfortunate
incident that took place this past Friday. In a freak accident, Alex Bars
(Vocals/Guitar), tripped and fell about 11 feet down a flight of stairs.
After a fairly long emergency room stay,
he was diagnosed with a fractured left scapula (shoulder blade), three
fractured ribs, a punctured lung, and a few damaged vertebrae. As you can
imagine, our entire band has been pretty shaken up this entire weekend.
[rumor has it the band is thinking of changing their name to 'Factured
Left Scapula Three Fractured Ribs A Punctured Lung And A Few Damaged Vertebrae
From Falling 11 Feet Down A Flight Of Stairs.' Because 'The Receiving End
of Sirens' simply isn't a long enough name. to see full story for more]-
