$haron�. err Ozzfest has been announced. System of a Down tops the bill
with Disturbed, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil and an as yet announced band rounding
out the main stage.
The second stage will feature headliners
Black Label Society along with Atreyu, Unearth, Bleeding Through and Norma
Jean in the top slots with the following bands in rotating spots: A Life
Once Lost, Strapping Young Lad, The Red Chord, Full Blown Chaos, Walls

Blabbermouth reports: Guitarist Henrik Johansson
of the Swedish black metal band APOSTASY was murdered in his home Thursday
night (March 9), the group's frontman, Fredric Edin, told BLABBERMOUTH.NET.
"According to the police, his girlfriend stabbed him without known reason
in his heart area and he bled to death before the ambulance showed up!"

if they continue insisting he copy shock jock HOWARD STERN in a bid to

branding them "social retards", "beige baby-food sissies" and "ugly little

Contact Music reports: Cult rockers FILM SCHOOL
are hunting for all their equipment after their tour van was stolen yesterday
morning (08MAR06). After playing a show in Philadelphia on Tuesday (07MAR06)
night, the San Francisco-based band decided to check in at a local Comfort
Inn for the night because it boasts a locked car park with an attendant.
As the band members slept, a thief was able to break into their vehicle,
saw through its steering wheel lock and drive the van out of the parking
lot - even though a witness, possibly the attendant, called police while

electropop twosome Stereo Total are in luck. On March 21, the Olympia,
Washington-based label Kill Rock Stars is re-releasing the group's third

Shinoda has posted the following message on the group's official web site:
"We've been working on new stuff for a
few months at this point, and we have about 40-50 ideas. Some of them are
just little musical phrases, some are full-blown songs with vocals. All
are very exciting.
"As many of you know, we'll be working
with producer Rick Rubin on the next album. ...The other guys have put
me in charge of production on our end, so you'll see that the production
credit on the next record will read 'Rick Rubin and Mike Shinoda.'[see
